This is not the start of a nightmare, but the end of a peaceful dream.

Haruki Atou works for the Otowa Detective Agency.

He’s been asked to take care of his junior, Shinano, who has amnesia. But one day, Shinano suddenly goes missing. 

After that, Atou tries to find him, and learns that his last known location was a facility owned by a religious group called Path to Empireo.

He soon discovers the awful truth there and finds himself wrapped up in an incident.

But he’s starting to wonder if all of this might not have just happened by coincidence…

Haruki Atou

28 y/o, male, detective, 180cm tall (5’9)

Working at the Otowa Detective Agency as an investigator. 

Thin and baby-faced, with a weak body. More of the intellectual type.

He has no memories of being a young child, and no relatives.

Shinano Eiji

26 y/o, male, detective, 173cm tall (about 5’6)

Working at the Otowa Detective Agency as an investigator. 

He was an employee at the Tokyo head office, but currently has amnesia.

Cheerful and loves people, but is scared of dogs.

Rui Otowa

28 y/o, male, detective, 180cm tall (5’9)

The son of the Otowa Detective Agency's president, and the head of the Nagoya branch office.
Atou’s childhood friend. They’re close. 

Calm and matter-of-fact. 

Nina Yanagi

25 y/o, female, elementary school teacher, 163cm tall (about 5’3)

A woman who had moved to start her new teaching job in the city.

She got involved in the same incident against her will, just like Atou did.

It seems like she was trying to find her boyfriend, Jabuchi. 

Terumi Kurachi

50 y/o, male, policeman, 175cm tall(about 5’7)

A policeman belonging to G prefecture’s second investigation team.
Got involved in the incident due to doing some searching around during his work. 

A serious man, with a strong sense of justice.

Karen Kumazaki

10 y/o, female, elementary schooler, 143cm tall (about 4’6)

A fourth year in elementary school. Riku Kumazaki’s daughter.

She and her father got involved with this incident.

She has a mysterious air about her. An intelligent, level-headed girl. 

Reiji Isoi 

In his early 20s, male, part-time-worker, 169cm (about 5’5)

A mysterious young man. According to him, he just does various part-time jobs here and there.

It seems like he just got involved with this incident by chance, just like everyone else,
but he’s unusually calm despite the situation.

Very physically strong.

Aogu Kanou

33 y/o, male, researcher, 178cm (about 5’8)

A surviving researcher at Path to Empireo.

A whimsical person whose optimistic attitude has a touch of madness to it. 

He seems to be cooperating with Atou and the others, for the time being.

Ibuki Aiba

19 y/o, male, college student, 185cm (about 6 feet)

Attends Theosophy University in Tokyo.

When he came searching for a relative of his he was worried about, he ended up finding out about this case.

He says such philosophical things that you wouldn’t think he’s just a college student.

Riku Kumazaki

28 y/o, male, software engineer, 165cm (about 5’4)

He worked with security systems in his last job.

Karen Kumazaki’s father, and an ex-employee of Path to Empireo.

He’s extremely wary, and sharp-tongued towards those he considers his enemies.

You Jabuchi

27 y/o, male, a leader at Path to Empireo, 165cm (about 5’4)

Yanagi’s ex-boyfriend. A bishop in this organization.

He appears ruthless, short-tempered, and violent, but the true reason for his behavior is…?

Noa Enomoto

35 y/o, female, a leader at Path to Empireo, 158cm (about 5’1)

A bishop, and this organization’s NO.2.

She looks a lot younger and prettier than her actual age,
but her personality’s extremely ruthless and she doesn’t tend to listen to what other people think.

Noriyuki Utsugi

55 y/o, male, the head of Path to Empireo, 180cm (5’9)

An archbishop, and the leader of this institute.

He seems polite and gentle, but his words and deeds are clearly tinged with madness. 

Minoru Harada

?? y/o, male, a journalist, 176cm (about 5’7)

A man who shows up in flashbacks, and an outsider to this organization.

Acts over-familiar with absolutely everyone. A shallow sort of person.

Just what could he be doing now?

Hajime Hatsutori

60 y/o, male, the founder of Path to Empireo, 170cm (about 5’5)

The founder, who is considered a “savior” within the institution itself.

Believed to have died 15 years ago.
