[These questions are reposted in the fanbook, but I got all of these from the official twitter, and you can read them yourself in Japanese by clicking the tweet link below each question. I compiled these all myself. There are a lot of questions here, so if there are any questions I missed from the twitter, broken links, or links to different questions that managed to sneak in, please let me know. I did include and translate Fukao’s foreword included with these from the fanbook, though, just because I think people might be a bit confused about whether these were part of the ‘canon timeline’ or not otherwise.

Please note that the questions I have and have translated are specifically the ones from the official twitter- the question box compilation mentions that they were edited, corrected, and republished, but these edits are not included in my translation and so these versions of the questions will likely differ from the fanbook’s versions, although I haven’t checked to what degree.

I do encourage you to look at the official fanbook if you have it or purchase it if you’re curious about the differences, though.(You can do that here- you’ll get two books, an artbook and another book with all the CoE flags in the game, an official timeline of the game’s events, and a question box compilation)  https://booth.pm/ja/items/1924870 [I use tenso for shipping, but you’ll need to set up a tenso account before you order].

One last note: Please also keep in mind that these questions started in mid-2018 and went to the beginning of 2019. Many of them were published before the release of the DLC, so the information in some questions may be out of date— for example, the question about the CoE sequel isn’t current information, and the question regarding what characters Fukao expected to be popular is based solely off of their appearances in the CoE base game, not the DLC.]

Here's part 2 and part 3 and part 4.

◆Question Box Compilation Foreword◆

The SharkTaleFactory official twitter used Peing for questions, and those questions and their answers have been edited, corrected, and reposted here.

The questions are answered by the cast themselves.

However, since Fukao is the one writing them, they don’t exist in the ‘official’ timeline. Just think of these exchanges as ‘If the cast ever had the opportunity to talk like this…’

Just how would they answer questions at the curtain call?

Or ‘Just how would the cast express their words of thanks’?

But these answers are based on things that are true in canon & thoughts about the cast’s behavior.

So I’d be happy if you read and enjoyed this while keeping that in mind.

Thank you so much for your questions, everyone.

Q: Thank you for always making such satisfying endings! By the way, everyone, have you had anything shocking happen to you lately? Please tell me about it!

Atou: Thank you!

Otowa: Well, what shocked me was Taguri getting married.

Atou: No way, were you really that attached to him? That was such a long time ago.

Otowa: I said ‘shocked’ but I don’t mean it in a negative way.

Atou: Well, honestly, the most shocking thing to me would probably be what we all went through, but that’s probably true for everyone…Hmm…Something shocking, though…The supermarket near me did some remodeling, so I can’t find my favorite brand of cup noodles anymore.

Isoi: Your ‘shocking event’ is so down-to-earth and real.

Shinano: I just learned that buri and hamachi are the same fish!! They’re both delicious!!

Yanagi: Well…Hmm…My answer’s kind of close to Atou-san’s, but…the pharmacy near me had my favorite brand of face cream in stock, and then it mysteriously disappeared.

Kurachi: I wouldn’t call it shocking, but I got a chance to go back to my childhood home recently, and I found that, due to landslides and the like, the roads had changed. Old familiar pathways and plots of land were gone, and new tunnels had been opened. It was surprising to me. I guess time really does pass, whether we want it to or not.

Karen: Melon soda really doesn’t have any melon in it…

Riku: Fu..fufu…hahaha…I spent a whole day working on data and it didn’t save…Hahaha…

Aiba: Uri…Uri let one of my juniors feed him…I thought he didn’t like anyone else…

Kanou: I got told my cholesterol level is too high. I’ll die if I can’t eat eggs or foods like that anymore.

Jabuchi: …

Enomoto: You have such a faraway look in your eyes.

Jabuchi: Ah…well, hm. Maybe it was when I dropped Imamura’s favorite cup the other day and broke it.

Enomoto: Who’s Imamura????

Enomoto: Well, whenever I gain weight it’s a shock to me.

Utsugi: Whenever a vending machine starts dispensing only warm drinks, it’s a shock to me.

Harada: You’re not saying that as a joke? You’re serious? You’re serious? You’re actually fucking serious?!

Hatsutori: I thought I was biting into a piece of milk chocolate, but it was actually bitter dark chocolate.

Harada: Oh, when was thI’m sorry

Isoi: I was so shocked by how ugly I looked when I saw myself in the mirror.

Atou: …

Isoi: …

Atou: No, no, you’re really not that ugly!

Isoi: Really had to stop and think about that one before you said it, didn’t you.

Q: Is everyone good at singing?

Atou: Well, I don’t really sing much, so…

Shinano: I love karaoke! But I don’t think I’m that good at it…

Reiji: I’m okay at singing.

Sanemitsu: Reiji’s good at talking fast.

Atou: That’s not what it’s called, you old geezer. It’s rap.

Sanemitsu: I knew that! I just forgot the word for it. Leave me alone.

Shinano: Oh, the Chief’s pretty good at it.

Atou: He can do pretty much anything you ask him to, yeah.

Yanagi: I do karaoke for fun, too! But I don’t really grade myself on it…

Jabuchi: I do too…sometimes…with acquaintances.

Riku: I guess everyone’s kinda the same here.

Kanou: Actually, isn’t that Kitaro-looking-kid the only one who’s good at singing? That Aiba Yuusuke-kun wasn’t very good at it either.

Harada: Utsugi-kun and Hajime’s abilities are still unknown.

Utsugi: I don’t particularly care whether I’m good or bad at it.

Hatsutori: I’ve sung hymns with everyone else before.

Reiji: Aaaaaaaaaaaaave Mari-

Atou: Enough.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1086099498261086209

Q: Let’s go to karaoke, everyone!

Atou: We’ve sure been getting a lot of questions like this lately.

Shinano: Let’s go, then!

Reiji: Fun Fun

Kanou: We hit

Otowa: The Step Step

Atou: ?!

Utsugi: If we do it, you’ll go first, won’t you, Jabuchi-kun?

Jabuchi: But…we’re not doing it, right…???

Noa: If we do, something we can’t even laugh at is going to happen.

Hatsutori: Laughter is good, though.

Harada: Not like that, Hajime.

(Reiji, Kanou, and Otowa are singing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyB80N-NyPY)

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1086098410577354753

Q: Atou-san, have your eyes always been closed like that? What made it happen?

Atou: I wonder…

Otowa: I put menthol on your eyelids while you were asleep, and ever since then you’ve kept your eyes closed because you said you were afraid to open them. Did you forget?

Atou: Don’t look so serious when you’re lying.

Atou: No, but I just started squinting on my own…There’s probably not any particular reason for it, sorry.

Reiji: “Probably”.

Atou: Don’t you start too.

Reiji: Kekekeke.

Hatsutori: Do you think it could be because

Seodore: No, no (lol) Don’t start anything you don’t need to.

Q: Hello! I’m an overseas player, but I thought CoE was a wonderful game! I picked up all the notes and tried to make my own deductions about what was going on, but most of them turned out to be not quite right in the end. I enjoyed experiencing the ‘love of God’ quite a lot, though. I also have one other thing I’d like to ask- would it be alright to add subtitles to my LP of the game?

A: I apologize for taking so long to answer this question, but I’d first like to say that I’m grateful that overseas fans are enjoying it too! And there’s no problem with adding subtitles. Actually, I’d be glad if people who don’t understand Japanese can enjoy the game too. Thank you again for your time.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1085377144895782912

Q: Can you talk about Noa-chan when she still knew Haruki? I really want to hear about Hatsutori-sama and Utsugi-san, too!!

Noa: Hmph.

Utsugi: There, there. Don’t sulk, don’t sulk. The DLC is coming up soon. Please look forward to hearing more about this there.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1085376337790058498

Q: Thank you for your wonderful game! Honestly, the themes and work itself are both so high-quality I would never have imagined it was a free game.

I’d like to make a free game myself, but was wondering if you had any recommendations for tools or software to use for the pixel art and sprites.

A: Thank you. That’s very high praise. A lot of the graphics and pixels used in the game were borrowed from extremely kind and generous sources and simply reworked. I personally use Photoshop, but I can’t exactly say I recommend it as a tool…(You can do anything you’d like in it, but it’s originally intended as just a photo editing software…)There are a lot of free software for this out there, so I think you should try them and see which works for you…I apologize I couldn’t be of more help.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1085375350006312960

Q: Can you wink, everyone?

Atou: I’m always winking with both eyes.

Otowa: It’s not my strong point.

Shinano: I can do it perfectly☆

Yanagi: I can do it with my left eye, but I’m not great at doing it with my right (laughing)

Kurachi: I think I can, but I haven’t really tried it…

Karen: I can! Tada!

Riku: Well, I guess I can do it as much as anyone else…

Kanou: Yaaay ;)

Jabuchi: My face twitches and the other eye closes too, so I just end up squinting.

Enomoto: Of course. I practice. <3

Utsugi: You practice, do you.

Enomoto:

Utsugi: I can, but it doesn’t particularly suit me.

Harada: It’s easy.

Hatsutori: Um…Can I just open one eye a little bit? Does that count?

Harada: We’ve just invented a new definition of winking.

Aiba: Hnn!

Atou: Aiba-kun, I apologize. I know you shouted to psych yourself up and then winked, but you’re doing it with the one hidden behind your bangs, aren’t you? I can’t see it. And you don’t need to try that hard.

Reiji: If I wink, it ends up looking like I got hit in the face.

Atou: I see.

Reiji: What do you MEAN ‘I see’?!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1085373571478798339

Q: If the CoE cast could tell their past or future selves something, what would it be? I’ll leave ‘when’ in the past or ‘how far’ in the future up to you. (If this question is too hard to answer, please feel free to ignore it)

Atou: I don’t particularly have anything I’d say. Even when I have regrets, even if I could’ve had a brighter future, I think I still wouldn’t say anything to myself. That’s the conclusion I came to. Of course, I can’t say I don’t want to cheat a little bit, though.

Otowa: Well, I’d probably tell my middle school self that he’s made a very troublesome friend.

Atou: Do you regret it?

Otowa: No, it’s me after all. He probably wouldn’t listen. He does like troublesome things, after all.

Atou: What is THAT supposed to mean?(laughing). Well, I’ll take that as a compliment.

Shinano: …I wouldn’t say anything, either! There are a lot of things I probably should’ve done, but there’s nothing I particularly want to say. I think I feel the same way Atou-san does.

Reiji: It’s pretty hard for all of us to answer a question like that. We have to say ‘nothing’, even if it kind of sounds like a stock answer to do so.

Yanagi: …Hm, a future me, then. I think there are definitely days she’d mess up…I think I’d want to tell myself in her thirties that I want her to be happy.

Kurachi: I have more things than I can count that I could say. There are so many things I wish I could’ve done better…But more than anything, I want to tell myself ten years later to cherish his family.

Karen: Do I have to answer? Well then…myself a long time ago…I think that’d be tiny me. I’d want to tell her to tell Mom she loved her more.

Riku: Is that really all you want?

Karen: “You can’t deny the present”, right?

Riku: Good grief, who told you that (laughing)

Riku: I’d want to tell myself to stay away from Path to Empireo. But he probably wouldn’t listen. So I guess the only thing I could do would be to leave a letter for my future self. I don’t know if I’d be talking to myself ten years in the future or not, but I’d want to tell him not to freak out, even if Karen was getting married.(laughing)

Aiba: Okay, so the test answers are…(coughs) Um. Nevermind. Cancel that. That’s just inviting wicked thoughts. Hm. I’ll just try to say something like Atou-san did, then. I want to try to live each day the way I should, and try my hardest to keep going to the next. So all I want to say is ‘Live’, and I want to say it to who I am right now.

Oh, also, I want to tell myself we’re all out of Uri’s cat food, so I have to go buy some more later today. We’re out of shoyu too.

Kanou: Noooope. It’s a secret. Kanou-san isn’t the type to answer questions like that too seriously. He lives in the moment.

Jabuchi: …Don’t become a teacher. When I think about it, that’s really where everything started. So if I didn’t, none of this would have happened. I wouldn’t have done that, but I also wouldn’t have…No, sorry, never mind. That was just my speculation.

Enomoto: I would tell her to stop Utsugi at any cost, and go with her.

Utsugi: Haha, that’s a bit of an insincere response.

Enomoto: That’s probably the only time I could’ve done anything about any of this.

Utsugi: No, I still wouldn’t have let you. I don’t think a route like that exists.

Utsugi: Well, then, what can I say about this? I can’t particularly think of anything, even jokingly.

Harada: By which you meeean…You CAN’T really say anything about this, right?

Hatsutori: Exactly.

Seodore: Download the DLC to learn more :)

Harada: This was a SERIOUS MOMENT AND HERE YOU ARE PROMOING THE DLC!!!!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1085011940601081856

Q: Everyone, how much do you sleep and eat?

Atou: I think I do both the normal amount. Although I might eat a little less than normal, and there are days I don’t sleep quite as much. I do catch up on sleep on my vacation days, though.

Otowa: I keep everything in order. Not too much and not too little.

Shinano: I think I sleep and eat a bit more than most people! Although I do stay up late the nights before vacation days..

Yanagi: I have these TV dramas I like, so I’ve been staying up late watching them, unintentionally…But I thiiiink…I eat a normal amount? I do like sweets a lot though (laughing).

Kurachi: Sometimes my schedule is strange due to work, but I try to make time for basic needs. I have found myself wanting to eat a bit less lately, maybe because of my age.

Karen: I eat a lot and I sleep a lot! I’m still a growing kid!

Riku: Well, I don’t have THAT much time to sleep. I think I eat the normal amount, though. Although I’ve been eating less than I used to.

Aiba: A lifestyle in disarray leads to a self in disarray! Clean and orderly living is the first step to a clean and orderly self!

Kanou: Thanks for the life lesson, Kitaro.

Kanou: When Kanou-san wants to sleep, he sleeps, and when Kanou-san wants to eat, he eats. Not sure how I compare to other people.

Jabuchi: …I probably did both a bit less than most people. And I’ve needed to do that even less ever since I’ve become a host.

Noa: Me tooooo…Although when I feel like eating or sleeping, I do.

Utsugi: Haha,

Harada: What is this?! You’re all answering like some kind of fantasy creatures…

Utsugi: I don’t really do either of those things now…Although I can’t say I did them much when I needed to, either.

Hatsutori: Noriyuki’s always been a bit reserved. Come to think of it, maybe I was similar back then…

Harada: I didn’t overeat or oversleep, either. I was pretty ordinary.

Reiji: I don’t sleep much, but I make up for it in how much I can eat.

Atou: Oh, you do eat quite a lot.

Reiji: Well, they say Napoleon only got three hours of sleep a night, and made up for the rest with eating.

Atou: You know, come to think of it, when I look at you, you do remind me of him somehow.

Reiji: Please explain why in no less than 135 and no more than 140 characters.

Reiji: Oh, by the way, the story about Napoleon was just a rumor, so don’t take it as historical fact.

Atou: You’re so serious about that…

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1083645837626855424

Q: I want to hear Kanou-san and Atou-san call each other by their real names! …is what I thought, but then I started wondering. Would it be ‘Atou-chan’? Would it be something else?

Kanou: Who’s Atou?

Atou: I deeply apologize, as I have no idea who this [___]gi-san person is as well.

Kanou: If they want me to call you something that makes us sound closer, how about Kouji-kun?

Atou: I am NOT going to answer if you do.

Kanou: Oh, by the way, why did you suddenly start speaking so politely?

Atou: It just started coming out of my mouth.

Kanou: Like slime?

Atou: Slime comes out of your mouth?

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1083568509336965120

Q: I have a question, or maybe some words of encouragement? For Atou-san (He doesn’t need to be the one answering this though. You don’t have to answer at all, either.)

On a certain route, on a road that splits in two, there’s a certain person who directly says “take care of a certain someone for me”. Even though you get a bad end if you follow that route, the fact that it was brought up means…Atou is interested in that person, right?

In the route to the true ending, someone brought it up to him, and he said something that sounded like he was denying it, but wasn’t actually denying it, so it made me wonder, and I ended up wanting to ask about it.

A:

(From Fukao) Thank you for your message and words of encouragement!!

Atou probably thinks, somewhere in the depths of his mind, that he wants both the living and the dead to be able to find peace.

He doesn’t just act this way with those two— he can do kind of presumptuous things in general (especially if he’s on the route leading up to that ending). Because he feels like he can take on a lot of responsibility, he ends up feeling more secure if he can do what he thinks will ‘make things better’ himself.

And the thing he feels the worst about regarding those two is the fact that they’re still tied to each other and can’t move on, but will never be able to get back together.

It doesn’t quite fit to call the people he met in that place companions, friends, or acquaintances, and it’d be kind of insensitive to assume that their relationship is more than it is, but on the other hand it can’t really be called an ‘insignificant’ relationship. That’s the way Atou thinks of it, so even I don’t really know where his relationship with each of the people he met will go from there.

I do plan to talk about it and open up a field for where all of them will be in the future, using the characters themselves to tell that story. When that happens, even if some of them go through rough times in the future, I’d be happy if you still kept an eye on them. Thank you.

Q: I currently live in Hokkaido. My power was out until just a bit ago, so I ended up thinking about all sorts of things regarding the COE cast (laughing) to distract me a bit (laughing more). That relaxed me, but I started to wonder what they would all do in a power outage to distract themselves, too.

Atou: That really sounds difficult. I’m glad you’re safe.

Otowa: There were many disasters last year, and there are lots of wounds in the region that still haven’t healed. I hope things can return to being peaceful as soon as possible. Even if all I can do is say it, I’m cheering them on.

Atou: I think a power outage is going to be a bit…traumatic for everyone for a little while. So everyone, make sure to keep your things charged. (staring into the distance)

Otowa: I’ll meditate, or do strength training, or do volunteer work.

Shinano: I’ll sleep, or go for a walk, or find someone else to talk to.

Yanagi: I’d be scared and not want to be alone…if I was alone, I’d probably just go to sleep, though.

Jabuchi: (But you didn’t act like that during a normal power outage?)

Kurachi: If it was because of a disaster, first I’d make sure everyone was safe. If it was a regular power outage, I’d unplug and turn everything off so they weren’t damaged if there was a power surge when things came back on.

Karen: I’d talk with Dad.

Riku: Right, I guess you would if I’m there. But what would you do if you were home alone?

Karen: Hmm…Radio calisthenics.

Riku. Radio calisthenics…

Aiba: I’d do what I could do, and when I was done with that I’d do some squats and go to sleep, if it was nighttime.

Kanou: Yaaaay! A mandatory break! Now I have to relax or sleep or go prank someone!

Jabuchi: Yeah…if there wasn’t anything I could do, I guess I’d just…stay where I was.

Enomoto: Oh? I‘m going to go prank people <3

Utsugi: Your answer is the same as Kanou-kun’s. You two are pretty close in age, is this just what people your age are like?

Enomoto: No.

Kanou: Nope.

Atou: What we should be asking is why all the people in their thirties here are like this.

Reiji: If you’re going to mention that, then we also have to ask why all the people in their fifties here are REALLY Like That.

Sanemitsu: Like That(like that)#likethat

Reiji: That’s right…I’d take the opportunity to go for the neck of someone who I want to bother…

Atou: Stop.

Reiji: I’d gently poke their neck and start going “eeeeeeeeeeeeee” in their ear like a mosquito.

Atou: STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hatsutori: A power outage, huh. It’d be terrible if the power went out. For pretty much everything.

Seodore: But you can see the stars pretty well. How about looking up at them?

Hatsutori: You’re not saying this with ulterior motives?

Seodore: Of course. I’m not refined enough to mean anything else when I say that the moon is beautiful.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1083207216407097344

Q: Have you been to the ocean, everyone? What kind of swimsuits would you all choose?

Atou: When did we get this question? It’s freezing out now.

Otowa: It’s a normal swimsuit for me.

Shinano: I like school swimsuits!

Atou: If you don’t specify “on other people”, people are going to misunderstand.

Otowa: I don’t want to hear about your fetishes either way.

Harada: You know, normally you’d ask girls this.

Utsugi: Oh, then have you seen Isoi-san’s swimsuit?

Harada: Shut UP well maybe I’ve seen it before, yes but (muffled) why are you even asking a stupid question like this

Hatsutori: My, my.

Harada: Don’t ‘my, my’ me, Hajime!

Yanagi: I don’t like overly revealing swimsuits…So I’d like something with a cardigan or skirt attached.

Karen: I wear my school one.

Noa: I’m going to wear a sexy bikini.

Utsugi: Have you been to the beach at all ever since you got “sexy”?

Noa: I hate you, Utsugi.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1083205102708580352

Q: I can’t really beat the vs. moment, so is there some kind of trick to doing it…?

???: You’ve worked hard. The latest update lowers the difficulty level somewhat, so please try it again if you’d like. If you can’t clear it no matter what, after 20 deaths in the old version and 10 deaths in this one, I’ll come to see you.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1083199316762578944

Q: Hello, Fukao-sensei! Does Reiji have an Italian name?

Reiji: Not really, no?

Atou: Reiji “Super Strong” Isoi.

Reiji: How about Reiji “Super Tall” Isoi?

Atou: I’m sorry.

Reiji: Don’t say ‘I’m sorry’ to that!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073419437431083008

Q: Is Kanou-san going to appear in the DLC?! Sorry if this is a repeat question.

Kanou: Hmm~~~ I don’t knooooooow<3

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073419001118609408

Q: I love Aiba-kun so much I can’t concentrate! How can I go out with him????

Aiba: What???? I must say I’m very honored, but I am still a student. I’d like to train myself as a student and make an effort in my studies, so I’m sorry…It’s not that I can’t understand how someone can stop being able to concentrate because of love, but I don’t think you should lose sight of yourself!! Mm!!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073418577133195264

Q: Is Noa-san calling her creatures “babies” just a pet name for them, or are they actually her children?

Enomoto: Of course they’re not my children!...It’s just a pet name. They were born from me, but I didn’t give birth to them.

Rai: She does it in the DLC.

Enomoto: Hey, don’t just jump out like that so suddenly!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073418078560481280

Q: Does Sanemitsu-san like handwriting or using a keyboard better? Please tell me!

Sanemitsu: I’d like to say that I’ve been writing longer, but the truth is that since I started using a typewriter relatively early, I have more familiarity with a keyboard. Of course, I also handwrite things sometimes. I end up not liking my own handwriting in the end, though.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073417537621188608

Q: Kanou-san’s so cute…I want to send him some flowers (kaomoji)

Kanou: Well, Kanou-san will like it even if you send him that. But flowers, hmm…Might be hard to bring them in, so fake flowers or a photograph is fine. Actually, what I mean is if you’re going to send me anything, send me donuts, send me donuts. Actually, you know, recently there was a really good new flavor of do

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073059594518183936

Q: What kind of person is Seodore-sama? I don’t know anything about him except what he looks like.

Seodore: Oh, you don’t need to be so respectful. I’m just a foreigner who happens to love apples. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all. Nice to meet you.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073058914139160576

Q: Sorry for the sudden question, but I noticed Utsugi-san’s birthday is the same as the poet Virgilius’s. Is that just by chance, or is there some special meaning to it?

Utsugi: This is an unfortunate story, so I won’t be telling it.

Harada: Unfortunate?

Utsugi: My grandfather was really, really…attached to me because of it.

Harada: I got what you’re saying. You can’t really talk about it, huh? Got it, got it. Enough with this question, then.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1073058413481943040

Q: I apologize, Hatsutori-sama, but did you…just trip?

Hatsutori: ?? I didn’t, no?

Seodore: What would happen if someone put a rock in your way?

Hatsutori: Hm, I guess I’d stumble on your hand and trip.

Seodore: Oh? That makes it sound like you were trying to step on my hand.

Q: If it’s alright, I’d like to know everyone’s voice actors! Especially Hatsutori-sama’s!

Hatsutori: I said this before, but I don’t think I can give an answer about this….What does my voice sound like…

Utsugi: It’s delicate and gentle- a sound like rustling leaves or flowing water, with no trace of harshness in it. Not a high-pitched voice, either. Beautiful and unmistakably male.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1049675699991150592

Q: I love the way Atou-san and Isoi-kun move (I’m serious).

So much I want to touch them, grinning all the while. (Really serious)

I want to touch their bodies. (Really, really serious)

I’ve been staring so much, now I’m empty (I’m not lying).

What should I do?

Atou: W…wow, this is a really…passionate…message.

Isoi: There are people who forget things are going to be put up where other people can see them and write “I just dug a HUGE booger out of my nose” on the posters at the supermarket. It makes me wonder if those people are OK.

Atou: There are WHAT?!

Atou: Hmmmmmm, well…If you become a medical worker, and end up responsible for giving the people at our office checkups, then you might be able to touch us during an examination….?

Isoi: Are you sure that’s okay for them to do?

Atou: Well, no…But we can accept just your feelings of liking us! Yeah!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1049673941281779712

Q: I know Isoi-kun’s catchphrase, but I was wondering if everyone else had a catchphrase, too?

(I think his catchphrase is “Shit!”)

Isoi: Did I say that? Excuse me for my foul language.

Atou: Did your parents never tell you to watch your language~~?

Isoi: Well, you can go ask him yourself if you’d like.

Atou: Augh. Guess I walked right into that one.

Atou: Hmm…

Otowa: That’s it.

Atou: Is that so…?(laughing)

Shinano: Me? Let’s seee….

Otowa: That’s it.

Shinano: Oh, is it!!

Yanagi: Hmm~ Let me think…

Jabuchi: It’s that.

Yanagi:????

Kurachi: I don’t really think I have one.

Karen: Me either.

Riku: When I look back, I really don’t think I get what a catchphrase is.

Kanou: zzz

Aiba: I wouldn’t call it a catchphrase, but I get told my manner of talking is distinctive a lot.

Atou: Sorry to bring this up now, but could you help me pick that sleeping bag up off the floor?

Noa:~~You know….Well, I’m aware I say that a lot, you know?....I say it a lot, I mean.

Harada: Well, Utsugi-kun’s way of speaking is just way too poetic.

Utsugi: Harada-san always ends his sentences with “Seriously?” “Not really?” or “Kinda?” which really makes him sound suspicious.

Harada: Seriously?

Hatsutori: It’s true.

Jabuchi:...Her real catchphrase is “It’s alright”.

Q: Hello. I’m an overseas player who’s bad at Japanese, but I managed to clear the game. Thank you for making such a wonderful game. Now, here’s my question: if you were to choose a voice actor for the different characters, who would you pick?

Answer from Fukao: There are a lot of overseas players from China and Korea and other countries that have been playing our game, and I’m really happy about that. I can’t really provide a translation on my part, but I’m really glad if you enjoy the game.

As for voice actors, I’m not really familiar with them, so I can’t really say…I do have some kind of an idea for what they’d sound like but I can’t explain it well.

These are kind of famous voice actors, but maybe Kenjiro Tsuda as Aiba, and Akira Ishida as Seodore? Something like that.

Q: Is everyone good at crane games? I keep thinking that Shinano (who’s bad at it) might have Atou-san (who’s good at it) do it for him…

Atou: Actually, Shinano’s the one who’s good at it.

Shinano: Leave it to me! If it’s not a random chance machine and I can test how strong the crane is, I’ll manage somehow! I wouldn’t even try if I knew a machine was rigged in the first place, in fact!

Otowa: I think you should pay that much attention in your job. It’d be useful.

Yanagi: You’s pretty good at it. He really seems like he likes arcades, too.

Reiji: I really like exposing the rigged ones. Like when you go in there and go “Hehehe, don’t try to cheat people, Mister.”

Atou: You were trying to act so cultured before…where did THAT all go.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1049668059512758272

Q: Did Aiba-san already say why he’s hiding his right eye…? I’d like to know the reason.

Aiba: Well, that’s…because I thought it was cool…(low voice) (smug look) (like he’s whispering it)

Shinano: (is a fast runner) (is turning the corner ahead of everyone else)

Atou: ??????????

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1049667514525831169

Q: Do any of the main cast have any special physical characteristics? Like sharper eyes, or small pupils, or a bigger nose? That sort of thing.

Atou: I have squinting eyes.

Reiji: Squinting but almost-open eyes, right?

Atou: And you have small pupils.

Reiji:  Hi, I’m the ‘pupils so small it always looks like I’m looking away and people can’t tell when I change my facial expression’ guy.

Otowa: Actually, I also have small pupils.

Atou: You have glasses and don’t show up too much in the series, so it’s kind of hard to tell, huh.

Shinano: I get told I have big eyes a lot~

Atou: That’s why the bags under your eyes when you stay up late playing games look terrifying.

Shinano: Teehee

Yanagi: Characteristics…Well, I don’t have sharp eyes or a larger nose, so I get told I have a gentle-looking face a lot…but if I don’t put on makeup, then I tend to look like I’m not paying attention~^^;

Kurachi: Hm. I don’t really care about that kind of thing, but…Well, I don’t really have any notable physical characteristics, but I do have really strong teeth. I’ve never had a cavity, and I take good care of them.

Karen: My eyes seem like they’re getting to look sharper and sharper as time goes on.

Riku: A long time ago, she used to look much, much gentler, but…Oh, me? My eyes look more downturned. I don’t look that great, so I always look like I’m glaring at people.

Aiba: I don’t really care about that kind of thing…But I get told I have a piercing look in my eyes a lot.

Kanou: Kanou-san often gets told he stares at people a lot!! And that his hair is weird!! Shut up!!! I’ll make a plastic model of YOUR bed hair and put it in the hallways of this place!!!

Atou: Have you not had enough sugar today?

Kanou: I’m tired.

Jabuchi: …

Enomoto: Well, you’re small?

Jabuchi: People don’t say that about my face…………………

Enomoto: No, I meant your eyes.

Enomoto: Noa’s big.

Jabuchi: Your eyes are?

Enomoto: My chest is.

Jabuchi: I see……………………………………………………

Harada: How do I put it. I get told I have a nasty look in my eyes?(laughing)

Utsugi: It’s probably better to say we all have a nasty look in our eyes.

Hatsutori: Does that include me? Well, I guess that might be true.

Seodore: You’re smiling on the outside.

Utsugi: That’s it, yeah.

Harada: Wait, what was that just now?

Hatsutori: Don’t worry about it.

Harada: Huh?

Hatsutori: Don’t worry about it.

Q: I just cleared the S route! At first, I saw the E route and got really depressed, but I was so glad everyone was saved in the S route. I really love this game, and I’ll be cheering you on from now on!

Atou: Thank you. All of us thank you.

Otowa: It was a long journey, but congratulations. We’ll take that as encouragement for the future.

Sanemitsu: And I pray you love them for a long time. Or something like that.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1049660464068734977

Q: Everyone, if you were going on a date, where would you want to go? Or if it wasn’t a date and you were just going somewhere with someone you cared about, what would you want to go and do?

Atou: I guess we’d go to a movie or something.

Otowa: You wouldn’t just want to spend time with someone? You’d want to do something with them?

Atou: The fact that you’re dating someone in the first place means you must share some goals or views with them, right …?

Otowa: I guess we're not at the age where we're just so head over heals for someone we can ignore that we don't share anything else, right?

Shinano: Heals?

Otowa: Sorry, I got tripped up. My heels did, I mean.

Atou: What about you, Shinano?

Shinano: Tokyo Big Sight and Akiba.

Atou: Okay, you don’t need to say anything more, I understand perfectly.

Yanagi: Hmm…Maybe shopping, or going to a nice cafe or restaurant…Well, I just like spending time with people I care about, so going anywhere would be fine.

Kurachi: It’s kind of funny to think of me going on a date at my age (bitter laugh) but other than that, I’ve been thinking that it’d be nice to take my daughter on a trip somewhere far away when she’s an adult.

Karen: Going somewhere with someone I like…I want to go to see Ricky Rat with Dad!

Riku: Where did you hear that from?

Karen: Shinano-san.

Riku: Got it. I’ll go there with you, but you have to not call it that.

Aiba: A d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d-da-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-t-te? Yes. Okay. Yes. No. Yeah. Hold on. I got this. Yeah. All right. So first we’d have something to eat, or tea, and then we’d go for a walk in the park or something…

Atou: Calm down.

Kanou: I wouldn’t really want to do much, but I’d— oh, can I really say this part?

Atou: You can’t say anything that would get us kicked off the air.

Kanou: Gooot it. My mouth’s zipped shut, then☆

Jabuchi:...I don’t particularly have any places I’d like to go, so wherever my partner wanted to go, I’d go.

Enomoto: I’d do everything I can!! Like going on a walk somewhere nice~ And eating some tasty desserts together~ And seeing the beautiful scenery at night together~ And then…kyaaa///

Utsugi: I don’t have any previous experience with this and I don’t plan to.

Harada: No, I’d just do normal things. Like going on a trip together or getting something to eat. I mean, hm, how do I put this. I don’t really like the whole way you’re supposed to act a “special way” around your lover… And I’m not really good at trying to be sexy unironically.

Hatsutori: Really? That’s surprising.

Harada: Hajime says just a few words so innocently and shows how powerful being a natural airhead can be, once again.

Reiji: Library, cinema, museum, art gallery, archive, historical castle site.

Atou: Wait, wait, wait!

Reiji: It doesn’t really matter to me if the person coming with me knows about those places or not, but I’d just like it if they came with me and listened to me talk about them and didn’t say that it was a bad thing to have as a hobby.

Atou: You really do know a lot about culture, huh.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1049653850167275526

Q: If everyone went to the ocean, what would you all do?

Atou: I guess someone asked this at a time when you’d actually go to the ocean.

Otowa: But now that we’ve gotten around to answering it, it’s already fall.

Atou: The ocean, huh…I’m not really good with bright light, so I’d find somewhere shaded and cool to look out at the beach.

Shinano: I’d go swimming, of course!! I’m a great swimmer!

Otowa: Well, they do say fat floats.

Shinano: You’re so mean!!

Otowa: I’d swim, or I’d take a boat out to sea.

Atou: Oh, you’re showing off your boating license again.

Yanagi: The sea~ That sounds amazing!  I’d love to go to the beach during the summer in a cute swimsuit and have some sweets and drinks at a beach house, too.

Kurachi: Hmm…I like rivers better than the sea, so that’s why I’d stay under an umbrella and not push myself too much.

Karen: I’d go swimming! And after, I’d play the watermelon splitting game! Hi-yah!

Riku: I’d go swimming with Karen too. A long time ago, she used to bury me in the sand.

Aiba: UV protection!!! Pre-swimming warmups!! Checking local beach conditions!! After we’ve made sure everything’s safe….LET’S SWIM!!!!!

Atou: Thank you, Mr. Swimming Expert.

Kanou: I’m not goooooooing. I reeeeeeeallly don’t want to. But if some man-of-war jellyfish wash up on the beach, I might go see them if it’s a cloudy day.

Jabuchi: I’m not really the type to love going swimming…Well, I might walk on the beach, though.

Enomoto: Noa would be fanning Hatsutori-sama with a big leaf.

Harada: Is he some kind of king or something?!

Harada: I’m not really good with sunlight either, or the type to go “let’s goooo” when I see the sea~ I’d like to look out at the scenery, listen to the roar of the waves, and let the ocean touch my feet, though.

Utsugi: I like winter seas.

Hatsutori: I was crying when I looked at a seagull that was almost freezing.

Harada: Ah~~ The Tsugaru Strait~~

Utsugi: The winter scenery of the Tsugaru Strait~~

Atou: I’m really glad I didn’t expect a serious answer from those old men from that generation.

Reiji: If I go to the sea, I want to look for beach glass.

Atou: That sounds interesting. Do you want to sell it?

Reiji: No, I don’t. Actually, my dream is to find a message in a bottle.

Atou: Really…

Reiji: I mean, doesn’t it sound nice? You can put something you can’t say to anyone, or something you want to say to someone far away, or a dream of yours you’d like to reach someone, into a small, small bottle of possibilities and send it off into the sea. Even if the person who finds it won’t ever tell you they did, it’s nice to think that someone will find it someday.

Q: I wondered this playing through the game, but is the reason everyone in the religious organization looks so young because of Hatsutori-sama’s power (or his grace, figuratively speaking)? And, I’m kind of asking this bluntly, but does Hatsutori-sama (and ‘you know who’ in the s+ end) age at the same rate as a normal human?

The reason everyone in the organization looks so young is partly because of Fukao’s artstyle, but in this work, Enomoto, Utsugi, Hatsutori, and a certain other flowerpot do also have power (figuratively speaking). It’s not that their aging has stopped completely, it’s just that it’s much, much slower than usual, so they still get older.

However, people like Hatsutori or someone who’s gone beyond the power of a host are special cases. This is touched on in the DLC, so you’ll see it there.

Q: If everyone went to a summer festival, what kind of yukata would they wear?

Atou: A yukata?...Well, I’d want something plain or striped vertically.

Otowa: Vertical stripes? I think something dark blue or black would suit you well. I’d want something in gray.

Shinano: But your regular suit’s gray too, Chief! I’d wear a jinbei in khaki!!

Kurachi: A yukata? Maybe something bright gray or white, with a pattern. I’m not really confident in my ability to put it on properly, though…My mother and brother used to criticize and criticize the way I did it…

Riku: A yukata?? I don’t really care about the pattern…I guess I’d just wear what’s popular or whatever I feel like.

Kanou: Hehe, I’ll leave that to your imagination☆ Or I guess I should say your fantasies?

Jabuchi:...I have something someone picked out for me. It’s plain black. Oh, there’s a pattern on the bottom, but I’m not really familiar with what it’s called.

Utsugi: I’d like to try wearing one, once.

Hatsutori: A summer festival…That really does seem like a Japanese cultural thing.

Harada: I don’t really like formal outfits, so I’ll just wear my regular clothes.

Yanagi: Hmmm…Oh, right! I’d like a green one with a flower pattern on it! I think that’d be cute. I like the simple, classic types of yukata, too , but I’m not sure I could put one on by myself;;

Karen: I have one with goldfish on it! I like it a lot!

Enomoto: I know more flashy ones look better on me, but I really want to wear something cute for once~

Aiba: Hm. Dark grey for me.

Atou: You look good and you have a nice physique, so anything would look good on you.

Isoi: I want to wear one with ‘just as it is/without depending on the moon/Ibuki Mountain’ on the back.

Atou: We’re suddenly bringing up Matsuo Basho.

Isoi: I can feel it on my skin…The times are jealous of me.

Shinano: Gaia is whispering to you to shine ever-brighter.

Atou: Where did you two learn this ridiculous joke?

Q: Can all the characters please tell me ‘Thank you for your hard work’ in their own words?

Atou: Thank you for always working so hard. Make sure you take a good long rest after, okay?

Shinano: Thank you for working so hard! Do what you like and take a lot of time to destress after!!

Otowa: You’ve worked hard. I know you’ve been busy, but make sure to take time to eat and sleep, too, or else your performance will drop.

Yanagi: Thank you for working so hard☆ Summer weather can get exhausting, so please take care of yourself!

Kurachi: Thank you for your hard work. There might be times when you need to push yourself, but don’t forget to give yourself a good pat on the back for getting through it afterwards.

Karen: Thank you for working so hard! Would you like dinner, a bath, or maybe

Riku: Whoever taught her that has ten seconds to get out here.

Riku: Good job. Don’t push yourself, though. Well, if you’re the type who will avoid pushing themselves just because someone told them to, you should be fine.

Aiba: Thank you for giving your utmost effort. I wish I could thank you more by giving you a nice, home-cooked meal.

Kanou: Good job~ I’m the one who did a good job, though. So you should be saying that to me.

Jabuchi: Thank you for working so hard……Oh, um, and make sure to take a nice long break.

Enomoto: Good job♡ Are you okay? If you want, you can touch my b

Utsugi: Path to Empireo is!!! A perfectly normal religious organization!! SO DIRTY JOKES ARE PROHIBITED!!!

Enomoto: What? I was just joking. Anyone else besides Hatsutori-sama doing that would be a no thank you.

Hatsutori: I’m okay, thank you.

Harada: Which part of her sentence are you responding to?

Isoi: Thanks for the hard work. You deserve a treat once in a while, too.

Atou: Guess those old men didn’t give a good answer to that question, after all.

Utsugi: Thank you for working so hard. If you’re tired, it can be refreshing to go into the refrigerator.

Atou: That wasn’t what I meant by a good answer.

Hatsutori: Thank you for your hard work. Listening to music can help you feel a little bit less fatigued. Classical music is the best. I specifically like Bach’s Jes

Harada: Thanks soooooooooooooooooooooooo much for your hard work☆ミミ When you’re tired!! Take this!! ‘Taur*ne 1000mg HI-GO!!

Atou: You guys get tired?

Seodore: They said ‘all the characters’, so I’m here, but I’m getting a look that’s saying “Go home already!” Setting that aside, thank you for working so hard, everyone. Tweeting can be a good antidote to exhaustion, but it can also be poisonous, so make sure to not overdose on it and enjoy yourselves~ (waves)

Q: I love Reiji-kun a ton…He’s way too cool, it’s just too much…

Reiji: I mean, thank you, but are you serious? Do you need glasses? Do you need NEW glasses?

Atou: Hey!!! They didn’t fall in love with your appearance!! They fell in love with your heart!!! So don’t be rude!!!

Otowa: You’re the one who’s being rude here.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1030434855178317830

Q: Atou-san, Otowa, and everyone else, please tell me how you’d spend a long vacation! How would you spend it, or how have you spent them in the past?

Atou: A long term vacation…Well, I might go on a trip with the Otowa family. If not…I’d probably dig into some of the games and books I have at home.

Shinano: I’d fly to some local events, catch up on my anime backlog, play games, and go on walks.

Otowa: Family vacation with Haruki.

Yanagi: I’d go shopping with friends, go on a trip, or go out for drinks with them! Oh, of course, if You was free, I’d do something with him instead, but…

Kurachi: It’d be what they call family time, huh. Well, I do things with my family, and organize some of my work-related files, which I usually can’t find the time to do. After that, sometimes I visit my parent’s ryokan with my family.

Karen: During summer vacation, I play, study, and do chores!!!

Riku: I rarely get the chance, but…One of these days, Karen will probably make more friends…and maybe even a boyfriend, and then she’ll be waaaaaaaaay too busy to hang out with me. So I’d like to take her to all sorts of places while I still can.

Aiba: I go back to my parents’ house, and do outdoor things. Like mountain climbing and camping.

Kanou: A long vacation? Is that that thing where people in the hospitality industry look like they’ve seen hell?

Atou: Stop picking fights with people in the hospitality industry.

Enomoto: A long vacation? Is that that thing when no matter where you go, there are people piled up like trash?

Atou: You know, this isn’t the first time I’ve thought about this, but are you and Kanou-san on the same wavelength?

Kanou: Whaaaaat!

Enomoto: Nooooooo!

Atou: You really are on the same wavelength.

Jabuchi:...I visit a grave, and go to see my father once in a while. Ah, of course, I don’t just do that in summer. Of course, I’ve made plans and gone on trips and smaller outings before, too.

Utsugi: A long vacation…Even when I had that time, I don’t remember doing anything but sitting at my desk and studying during it. Ahaha.

Hatsutori: I went here and there with my parents for research, study, and to broaden my knowledge of the world. And also—I’ve been on two sightseeing trips. To Florence and Vienna. …The person I went with then wasn’t one of my parents, though.

Harada: Hajime took up so much space talking, I’ll just leave off here.

Isoi: A holiday…Holidays are for relaxing, so I just laze around.

Atou: What about going on a trip?

Isoi: I wouldn’t call it going on a trip, but I could always have a day of free time at the places I visited, if I needed that. So I have a lot of fun memories of that.

Atou: I see, I see.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1030429573123461120

Q: (staaaaaaaaaaaaare)

Atou: Ahhh!!! Y..you surprised me! I thought there was a seaweed-headed old man standing by my bedside and staring at me again!

Utsugi: Don’t worry, I’m still here.

Q: I got really, really, really excited in that scene in ch6 where Aiba-san tells Atou-san where he’s keeping the key. What should I do? Please tell me!!

Aiba: Hm? You mean when I had the key in my butt?

Atou: Don’t just say that. Don’t just say that, Aiba-kun.

Isoi: Oh, like when my ass made a [censor beep] sound. Oh, I mean the cellphone.

Atou: You two, come to the office after this. I’d like to have a talk with you.

Q: Hello, and congratulations, everyone! I’m an overseas player, and my Japanese isn’t that great, but I’ve been desperately trying to play this game. (kaomoji with question mark) I really think the characters and the story are amazing! Thank you for making it! (crying kaomoji) And finally, I have a question for everyone. Do all of you play games? Like PS4 & PC games?

Atou: Thank you!!

Shinano: Atou-san, Isoi-san, and I do!

Atou: Yes, I mainly play PC and PS3 games. I haven’t gotten a PS4 yet…

Shinano: I play all kinds of games, from console to phone games!

Yanagi: I went to the arcade a few times with You!!

Jabuchi: When you played a shooter and went around shooting civilians, going “Oopsie, I shot them~” I really knew I couldn’t beat you.

Kanou: I get stuck in games, then get mad and throw the controller and break it.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1027912956925771780

Q: Can anyone play a musical instrument?

Atou: People who can play a musical instrument, speak up!!

Yanagi: I can play the piano a bit~ I wanted to be a pianist when I was in elementary school.

Shinano: I can play the guitar and drums that they have in arcades a little bit!

Atou: That doesn’t count.

Utsugi: Did you know that the ice I can create has a musical scale in it?

Harada: You mean those things that go ‘Eeeee’?

Utsugi: They don’t make a filthy sound like that.

Hatsutori: It’s more of an “Eeee” sound.

Utsugi: Exactly.

Harada: What’s the difference?!?!

Atou: I said musical instruments, you know.

Seodore: Well…

Hatsutori: Were you going to say something?

Seodore: No, nevermind.

Q: I apologize if you’ve said this somewhere and I’ve just missed it, but are fanworks (like fanbooks + fanmade goods) okay to produce? If you could clarify something like “goods for personal use are fine, but selling them for profit isn’t” I’d really appreciate it. (If you’re trying to keep things like that in the gray zone, though, feel free to not answer this)

I just finished playing the game, but all the ends were wonderful, and it was overwhelming just how many little details were included along the way. The plot twists and production of this game really made my heart warm— I died so many times, but felt such a sense of achievement after I beat it.

Really, thank you for making such an amazing work. I’m looking forward to the DLC too.

Your fans will always be waiting for you, so please enjoy yourself and don’t push yourself too hard with work and to tweet!

A: Thank you so much for your kind words!! It makes me happier than anything to see everyone’s impressions, thoughts, and fanworks.

But now that you mention it, I guess we do need some kind of guidelines…

I’ll make a page tomorrow, so just hold on a little bit!

Q: Everyone, what kind of nightclothes do you wear?

Atou: A T-shirt and loose pants…pretty much the same as my lounge clothes.

Otowa: Me too.

Isoi: Same.

Harada: Sometimes I just wear an ugly old tanktop and some underwear.

Shinano: Oh, me too!!!

Yanagi: Me too, me too!

Jabuchi: Ninaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!

Kurachi: I have a daughter and a wife, so I can’t do anything too wild. I just wear simple nightclothes.

Karen: I wear pajamas! From  ●niqlo!

Riku: I wear a sweatshirt. From Uniql■.

Enomoto: Depends on how I feel~ Sometimes I wear pajamas, sometimes a sweatshirt, sometimes I just go naked.

Utsugi: Wear clothes.

Aiba: A trackshirt, a T-shirt, or a tank top! I want to be able to go outside if I need to.

Kanou: Kanou-san has a sleeping bag he can walk in. If not, I wear a T-shirt and underwear, or I wrap myself in a blanket and sleep, either is fine~

Jabuchi: I’m pretty much the same…

Kanou: As me?

Jabuchi: No (yes)

Utsugi: I don’t really sleep, so…

Harada: What about a long time ago, when you did?

Utsugi: …I just wore ordinary clothes. Loungewear, just like everyone else.

Harada: You wore things like loungewear…

Utsugi: Just how were you hoping I’d answer that?

Hatsutori: A long time ago…I used to wear pajamas, a robe, or just sleep naked.

Harada: IS THIS WHAT YOU DID IN AMERICA?!

Q: Playing a game with Shinano-kun or going to an amusement park with him (even though I feel like he’d drag me around and I wouldn’t be able to keep up) sounds like it’d be really fun!!

Shinano: Really?! I’m so glad!!

Atou: Well, I guess he is a good guy in the end…He’s so energetic, he’s really the best at making you have fun.

Shinano: Let’s play a game with everyone next time.

Isoi: Like a baseball game?

Shinano: Sounds like that could end in a fistfight!?

Q: Reiji-kun, have you read Sanemitsu Isoi’s earlier works?

Reiji: Well, most of them. I like books, so if I have free time, I end up reading all sorts of different things.

Atou: You like books? That’s unexpected.

Reiji: Yeah, I guess I don’t really look like the type.

Atou: I think you’re actually more of an intellectual than I am, honestly.

Reiji: You know, you’re the one who keeps saying ‘more than I am’. What are you assuming about me?

Q: Out of all of those of you in the cast who wear glasses, when did you start wearing glasses? And out of those of you who aren’t wearing glasses, are there any of you who wear glasses at home, or are actually wearing contacts?

Atou: Actually, my vision isn’t that good, so I wear glasses when I read books.

Shinano: I wear contacts too!

Otowa: I have a lot of glasses.

Kurachi: I have…bifocal lenses and reading glasses…

Kanou: I keep breaking my glasses, so I get new ones once in a while~~I can’t wear contacts, I end up falling asleep with them still in.

Utsugi:...I wore them, once. I don’t need them now.

Harada: How old do you think I am?

Hatsutori: I don’t wear them now, either. There was a time when I did, though.
