Q: I want to see Isoi-kun’s full standing portrait, but…Can everyone tell me what their clothing styles are?
Atou: Clothing styles? Well, I basically always dress like this. One inner layer and one outer layer. I wear more in winter, of course. And I basically don’t expose any bare skin.
Shinano: I usually wear a T-shirt and a jacket or a hoodie over it! On my days off, I wear a tracksuit from my high school days!
Otowa: I usually just wear suits. People say I like them.
Yanagi: I don’t really wear clothes that are that flashy, either. Clothes that show off my body are a bit too much for me, too ^^; I end up just wearing flowy clothes.
Kurachi: I usually just wear a suit or uniform, too. On my days off I wear very normal…very plain outfits.
Karen: I like anything as long as it’s easy to move in. And I like all the clothes Dad buys me. But things that are too girly are a little embarrassing to wear.
Riku: I wear work clothes when I’m at work, and sporty tracksuits on my days off…I used to be a bit of a delinquent.
Aiba: The most important thing for me is to wear clothes that look clean and fresh, and then maybe add one or two accessories. I look through fashion magazines too…Appearance isn’t everything, but it is pretty important.
Kanou: Huuuuh? Can you imagine Kanou-san wearing something other than this labcoat? Well, I’m sure you’re imagining it now, right? Right? Well, I’ll leave you to imagine it.
Jabuchi: I don’t really care. As long as something’s pretty clean and pretty put-together, anything’s fine. Not that I’m trying to look good or anything, though. I don’t really care.
Enomoto: Oh, there were a lot of things I wanted to wear. But Hatsutori-sama and Utsugi both said they were too revealing and wouldn’t let me…Hmph.
Utsugi: Yes…Now that you mention it, what was it that I used to wear on business trips and the like…
Hatsutori: I don’t really remember much from way back then. Fashion must have changed a lot.

Atou: Well, I like all sorts of flowers…But if I had to say, white clover, even though it might seem like a plain flower.
Shinano: Hmm, I know they’re poisonous, but I’ve always thought wolf’s bane flowers were beautiful.

Yanagi: I like dahlias, or any kind of large flowers.
Kurachi: It’s not a flower, it’s a tree. But I like wisterias.

Well, I fell in love just like any regular person would in middle and high school. It was all completely normal when I dated my classmates, juniors and seniors, and then broke up with them, you know?
Harada: But, if you're talking about an 'well, I guess I can't really ignore this anymore, I'd better do something' type of situation...I've only thought 'well, maybe it'd be fine if we stay together forever' once. Um, like...'even if the size of our vectors are different, I'll be fine with that.' Like thinking that.

Yanagi: Oh, You? Well, I think it’s cute how he came an hour early for our first date and just how bad his alcohol tolerance is. At times like that, he ends up venting about his problems. I wish he’d do that a bit more regularly, though. And if he says “Oh, this shop seems like a good place”, I know he checked it out in advance.
Yanagi: And also, the way he always orders the food I decided to skip over and splits it with me~ Oh, right, right, and he looks like he’s having so much fun when he goes to the arcade! Q: I’ve been wondering this, since I just cleared the game…But do you have any plans for a sequel?

Well, first, thank you for clearing the game and going so far as to check out the twitter. And thank you for asking about a sequel…
I shouldn't dodge this question, so I’ll just say that I have plans.
I’ve included foreshadowing and information for future series in CoE, but not to the level where it’d make the game itself feel like it ‘needs’ a sequel.
Of course I’d like to make a sequel, but I hope I have time while I’m still alive…that’s how I feel, at least.
However, I do have to apologize if you were looking forward to a sequel. I have to say that at present, with the time my job, my life, and other things I’m doing take, as well as financial concerns, it will be difficult to make a sequel currently.
If I were to make that sequel, it’d have to be a paid game, I’d want to make something higher-quality, and it’d be hard to do it with the tools I have now.
So I don’t have the time or ability to do that at the moment.
But I definitely would like to, if the situation changes.
Well, first, I’ll release the DLC next year, and then, I'll make up my mind about what I'm going to do…Is what I want to say.
This is kind of a wishy-washy reply, but I’ll be grateful for all of your help from now on.

A: This is Fukao. I don’t really know too many artists, so this is just based on my personal taste, but the song I thought about when I was first making this game was Ling tosite sigure’s “Metamorphose.” I think you can still feel some traces of it in the E route.
Haruki Atou’s song is Yasutaka Nakata’s NANIMONO ft. Kenshi Yonezu. By the way, my +1-kun, who helped with making the game, suggests Yonezu-san’s “Lemon” for Jabuchi and Yanagi.
Minoru Harada’s song is Sayuri-chan’s “Hachi to Misemono”, and Utsugi’s is Aimer-san’s “us”.

A: This is the author speaking.
Since Atou is the protagonist, I thought he should be popular…or I should say, if he was unpopular, I’d start to get worried!!! That’s how I feel. So I really am glad a lot of people like him.
After that, I thought Isoi would be popular (since he has a lot of screentime in the second half of the game) and Aiba (Mr. Helping Out) would also be.
I thought Kanou would be the type of ‘love-him-or-hate-him’ character where he had people who liked him a lot, but would also have just as many people that just didn’t like him being around at all, so I…really…didn’t expect him to get this popular. Kanou, you’re so terrifying…I’m happy that especially girls(?) seem to like him….Good for you, Kanou…
What was a real surprise for me was Utsugi. I can’t really feel anything else other than amazed at how many people ended up liking him.
I personally like him a lot, but when I was writing him, even I ended up going “Wow, I can feel myself losing sanity writing this” and “Oh my god…”

Oh, one final addition. It was also a big surprise for me that Harada and a certain Mr. Someone had so many people who thought about him. I wrote him as the most hateable type of character after all, you see.

Kanou: I was under house arrest, so I basically just lived underground, doing whatever research I liked.
Jabuchi: Well, researchers aside, the management workers and volunteers just came to do their jobs. Of course, we had study groups and religious celebrations routinely, too, but there actually weren’t too many believers that were here full-time in the first place.
Enomoto: The majority of the people here had other full-time jobs and just came to visit us. I mean, we’re mostly a normal religious organization, after all. We bishops do participate in research and have to fly to Tokyo or America sometimes, though.

Q: (This is a spoiler question) I know Atou had his own abilities, but after the happy end, how much of the Origin's abilities did he inherit (like the unaging and undying parts)? Also, does he use his abilities in his daily life?
A: Basically, he's inherited everything from the Origin, so if he wanted to, using abilities on the same level as Hatsutori did is a possibility. However, because Empyrean cells act based off someone's will, in the end, those abilities would manifest differently based on how Haruki Atou sees himself.
Since he's aware he's the Origin, I think his slower aging and regeneration will manifest, and he'll keep the abilities he currently has. However, he tries to not use his abilities in his daily life. That said, if he found himself trapped in a crisis again where he had to use them to get out, he'd be able to do that.
It's like extinct, dormant, and active volcanoes. A dormant volcano is still a volcano, you know?
