[The questions were too long, so I had to split it into 3 posts. Here's part 2.]
[Here's part 1 and part 3 and part 4.]

[Enjoy.]

Q: Someone calls Atou-san uncle, someone else thought he wasn’t the same age as they were, so just how old does everyone think he is…?

Shinano: I thought he was the same age as me when I first saw him!!

Otowa: When I first saw him as a transfer student, I thought he was an elementary schooler.

Yanagi: He was so tall, I didn’t think he could’ve been that young…But I didn’t think he was 28.

Kurachi: I thought he was a university student, or maybe a highschool student if not that.

Karen: I thought Uncle was the same age as my dad.

Riku: I thought he was 5 years younger than me.

Aiba: I said how old I thought he was in the library room…I’m sorry.

Kanou: Asooooooooooou-chan? He acted so stuffy and old, I thought he was an old guy who happened to have a particularly cute face.(laughing)

Atou: I don’t want YOU calling me old.

Jabuchi:...I thought he was a particularly flashy student…

Enomoto: Younger than me? Well, that’s what he looked like. But hot guys all look younger than they are, so…

Utsugi: ^^

Harada: ^^

Hatsutori: ^^

Isoi: ^^

Atou: Guys,

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1025410842882269184

Q: Tell me a secret you’ve never told anyone!

Atou: I’m not going to tell you that?!?!

Shinano: But I want to hear!!

Atou: No.

Isoi: My first love was a girl called Colony.

Atou: You’re suddenly exposing this to the world?!

Isoi: She had short, blond hair…and a white dress…It suited her well.

Atou: Wow, that’s…a surprising development.

Isoi: An angel whose four warped wings told of her tragic story.

Atou: ?!

Harada: So that’s your type of 2d girl.

Atou: ?!?!?!

Isoi: That story had a really cute illustration of her, so it kind of made it worse. That was back when I was still a little brat.

Atou: You’re still a little brat, you know.

Isoi: What?

Atou: Sorry.

Shinano: By the way, Atou-san, it’s ‘disclosing’, not ‘exposing’. Saying ‘exposing’ is kind of…

Atou: This is Haruki, thank you everyone.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1025409284345982976

Q: Good evening, and thank you for all your hard work. I love Kanou-san so much I can’t bear it, so after I cleared the game, I’ve been desperately looking for as many Kanou bits as I can find.

The walkthrough on the site mentions that Kanou’s curse is different in S route vs A route, but I can’t figure out how…Could I maybe have a hint (about what’s different during the battles)...! Thank you!

Kanou: Ehehehe. As expected, Kanou-san’s hit his target in more than one way. Ah, right? The result? Hmm…Well, why don’t I read it out loud for you?

Originally, in the B battle:

The paw attack…makes you lose 4 stamina and increases corrosion rate by 20%.

The roar…makes you lose 1 sanity.

The tail…makes you lose 2 stamina, 1 sanity, and increases corrosion rate by 10%.

But after Kanou’s curse…

A route: No sanity loss, corrosion rate increase halved.

S route: No sanity loss, corrosion rate does not increase, lose 1 less stamina when hit, can continue once when knocked out.

Kanou: Now you see☆just how amazing☆I am

Q: I don’t want a junior like Shinano-kun, I want Shinano-kun as my junior!

Otowa: Well, our Tokyo branch is hiring…

Shinano: I joined the company first, so you’d be the junior! I’ll do my best to teach you.

Atou: The most important skill you need here is to be able to keep up with Asada-san telling jokes with a completely straight face.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1023918764251729920

Q: If all of the characters became idols, what would be their cheering colors?

Atou: Probably the same as the first color from our image color palettes…

Shinano: You know, now that I’m looking at them, they really are all subdued colors.

Otowa: Subdued colors…

Isoi: That’s a really positive way of looking at it.

Shinano: Would you guys be able to understand it more easily if I just said they were dull colors?

Atou: So now you’re just gonna come right out and say it?

Kanou: Kanou-san’s color doesn’t need any ink. Super low cost. Really easy on everyone’s wallets. See? You can cheer me on as much as you like!!

Atou:Who do you think you are?????????????????

[see the question about image colors]

[also the akiko kobayashi reference might be because of https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=281PXJrDYbc and because of utsugi having similar hair to her but i don’t know i really don’t know and this was just my proofreader’s best guess]

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1023917936698781698

Q: Is there some special reason you became a detective, Atou-san? Or was it just because of your interests?

Atou: No, Otowa just brought me along when I didn’t know what path to take in life…Or, I should say, the Otowa family did.

Otowa: I thought you could be a good detective. And it’s not a bad job at all, is it?

Atou: It isn’t. Except for the times I need physical strength. I just like getting my hands on people’s information, is all (laughs).

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1023917442081275911

Q: Everyone, do you like your current jobs? Or, if you had to pick a different job, what would you want to try?

Atou: I can’t imagine myself at any other job than this one. But I have…a lot of experience at doing things other than my job.

Shinano: I like my current job! But I’d like to try programming or being a game designer. Or maybe staff working on anime! I know it’s a difficult job, but I’ve always really wanted to.

Otowa: I’ve never considered any other job. I haven’t thought about whether I like or dislike it, either.

Yanagi: This is the job I’d wanted to do, so I love it. Even though it can be a bit chaotic at times…If I were to do another job, I’d want to be a nurse, just like my mother.

Kurachi: I can’t think of any other jobs besides my current one, either. I’m proud of what I do.

Karen: A job I want to do? Maybe a teacher or a policeman.

Riku: I don’t really think I can do a job other than this one, y’know. When I was a little squirt, I did want to work at Igarashi Materials, but that company’s too big. I really couldn’t.

Jabuchi:...I don’t have any hatred for my job as a teacher. Even if I had a chance to redo things, I’d probably go down the same path.

Enomoto: A job. A job? Well, I don’t really feel like leaving here.

Kanou: Yep, Kanou-san doesn’t have aaaaaaaaaanything outside here, either. But someone once told me if I liked donuts so much, I should work in a donut shop. Are they stupid? I like eating donuts, not making them. So I automatically ended up hitting them with the file I’m holding.

Aiba: Hmm, well, I did think about being a chef, but…I like cooking for people, and I like serving them, but I don’t particularly want to do it as a job. Well, maybe I could be a firefighter or a member of the JSDF.

Atou: I’d like to try some of your cooking.

Aiba: Come to my house and I’ll make you some.

Isoi: A job?

Atou: Oh, wait, that’s a spoiler, isn’t it.

Isoi: That’s true, but, well…I do like my current job, but other jobs I could do would probably be like heavy lifting or truck driving, right? Although, the job I’d personally like to do would be to work as a librarian.

Atou:

Isoi: Please stop making a face like a surprised yellow electric rodent. It’s rude.

Harada: I don’t feel like doing anything other than working with a pen and keyboard. But I wonder, what else could I have been?

Utsugi: The person I am now is Noriyuki Utsugi. There aren’t any other possibilities.

Hatsutori: This is the love that was given to me, after all.

Seodore: It’s sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo dark in here!! It’s so humid too!! Heeeeeeeeeeeey!!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1023912753726013442

Q: Atou-san, what made you start dying your hair? And why that color?

Atou: Well…my hair started graying early, and it was really bad. Originally, my hair was brown, but all these little whitish hairs started sprouting up absolutely everywhere. It distracted me at my high school graduation.

Otowa: You seemed like you were in agony for a bit, like your scalp hurt, and your hair was pulling and your eyes itched.

Atou: I’m glad that calmed down.

Atou: I guess I just took that opportunity to dye it.

Otowa: Are those hairs still growing now?

Atou: I wonder…But I’m fine with keeping my hair like this for now.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1023912055609249792

Q: When do you feel the happiest?

Atou: Hmmmm. Well. I’ve always thought it was when I could live my peaceful daily life, but…I’ve started to think having a bit more spice in my life might not be too bad. That’s right, I’m the happiest right now.

Shinano: Atou-saaaaaan;;

Shinano: Well, I guess my answer’s a little bit less eloquent! I’m the happiest when I’m watching DTDS every Saturday!!!

Otowa: Happiest…? Maybe when I can drift off to sleep while feeling satisfied about a productive day.

Yanagi: Hmmm, that’s a tough question. When do I feel happiest…Well, there’s a lot of times when I think “I’m so happy~” in the moment, but I think there are also a lot of times I remember and go ‘Oh, I was so happy then.” And looking back on those times is what makes me feel the happiest, if that makes sense?

Kurachi: When I spend time with my family. My kids’ birthdays, their graduations, and after that…when a case is solved.

Karen: Happiest…When my dad takes me out shopping or somewhere fun.

Riku: When I take Karen to do those things and I get to see how happy it makes her.

Aiba: When Uri (my cat) sleeps quietly next to me…It’s amazing. It’s so healing. It’s really amazing. It really is. (has lost all vocabulary other than that)

Kanou: Huuuuuh? I’m happy every day, you knoooooooooow?? I mean, I live every day so I can be happy (laughing)

Jabuchi: …Looking back, I spent more time worrying than anything. If only I had the ability to hold onto the bliss I had back then and not let go.

Enomoto: Noa was happy when Hatsutori-sama noticed her♡

Utsugi: I feel happiness every day. Because I can exist under the love of God, even breathing is a joyful thing for me.

Hatsutori: I—

Harada: Don’t force yourself to answer, Hajime.

Hatsutori: I was happy when you became friends with me.

Harada: Hahaha.

Isoi: Well, I’m happy when I’m talking about my family to someone. The fact that I can talk about my older brother and my dad without even thinking much about it always makes me smile a little bit whenever I do.

Shinano: Two people’s brains have suddenly stopped working!!!!!!!!!!!!!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1023906870451265536

Q: I’m really sorry to ask this when you have so many questions in your inbox but I was wondering if you had any recommendations for game making tools? I’m a real beginner and I’m nervous, and even though I’ve looked things up myself, I haven’t really gotten myself to take that first step…

A: No, don’t worry about it!! I only have RPG maker 2003, though! I’ve only used that Playstation-era tool, so if you have a recommendation, I’d love to hear it…I apologize.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1022469143516274688

Q: What kind of catalyst would Enomoto need to manifest her paralysis, or Yanagi and Karen, who don’t have offensive abilities, need to manifest theirs?

A: Actually, you’ll be able to see this in the DLC later, and I plan to release a document collection next year. I’ll explain more in depth there, so this explanation is just surface-level. But basically, things that don’t need to materialize in reality don’t need a catalyst.

Atou, Jabuchi, and Kurachi need to materialize their abilities in reality, so they can’t use their abilities without catalysts. For Karen and Yanagi, the ‘self’ and the ‘target’ act as catalysts in a matter of speaking. Hosts and people with a lot of experience, like Reiji, can use their abilities without catalysts. That’s a simple way of explaining it!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1022468339640164353

Q: Everyone, do you have a favorite thing?

Atou: Hmm…Maybe my car?

Shinano: A. Prefecture has really good cars, right! For me, it’s my Uniq●o bag! It’s sturdy and works really well!

Otowa: Glasses.

Atou: Of course.

Shinano: You always, always, live your life so seriously?

Atou: Do you have multiple pairs of glasses?

Otowa: About 5 pairs.

Yanagi: A favorite thing? Hmm…I end up losing or breaking a lot of things…So I never get to finish using my ballpoint pens or notebooks…Oh, but there’s a watch someone bought for me that I still use. I got it fixed.

Kurachi: Well, I have a lot of things, but my favorite is the pair of cups my daughter bought me and my wife.

Karen: The lunchbag my dad sewed me with his sewing machine. It has chopsticks and a handkerchief inside.

Riku: It’s falling apart, so I need to fix it soon…

Riku: My favorite thing ends up being whatever new and shiny thing I’ve gotten the most recently. Right now, I’m enjoying the feeling of typing on my new keyboard.

Aiba: My favorite thing? I’d been avoiding doing this for a while, but I recently got a pressure cooker. It’s been…really great. I can make dishes easily that I hadn’t been able to make at all before.

Kanou: A sleeping bag you can walk in. It’s crazy. Really the best of the best.

Jabuchi: The ballpoint pen my father bought me when I first got a job…I really am a terrible son, huh.

Enomoto: My J●ll Stuart brand perfume.

Utsugi: My favorite thing…favorite…favorite…A refrigerator, I guess.

Harada: Do you go inside it?

Utsugi: Yes.

Harada: Don’t lie with a straight face like that.

Hatsutori: Favorite thing…favorite…favorite…

Harada: It’s that mug of yours, riiiiiiiight? The one you drink cocoa from.

Hatsutori: Yes, that. And post-it notes. I get nervous about writing in books.

Harada: I’m the opposite. Even though I’m a writer, I write all over books. So my favorite thing is a pen. As they say, the pen is mightier than the sword☆

Reiji: A cigarette.

Atou: That was a quick answer.

Reiji: After that…my rings.

Atou: Well, that’s surprising.

Reiji: They make my punches harder, after all.

Atou: Rings aren’t supposed to be used as brass knuckles, you know.

Seodore: Hey!!!!!

Hatsutori: Haven’t you been getting too excited lately?

Seodore: But…

Hatsutori: If you understand, hurry up and say what you have to say.

Seodore: Heeeey.

Hatsutori: I see. You don’t really have anything to say, do you.

Seodore: Sorry. I just wanted to talk.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1022462107218890753

Q: Is there anyone who can drive a vehicle? Doesn’t matter which kind.

Atou: I have a standard driver’s license for up to 2 ton vehicles, but can only drive automatic transmissions.

Shinano: I have a regular driver’s license! I can also ride a motorbike and regular bike.

Otowa: Car, bicycle, large motorbike, second class boat pilot license.

Yanagi: I can drive an automatic~

Kurachi: Back in my day, we could all drive medium size cars. And we could all drive stick shift.

Karen: I’m really good at riding a unicycle.

Riku: I have a standard driver’s license for up to 2 ton vehicles. And I can drive stick shift, too.

Kanou: Weeeeeelll, I have a license, but I don’t have a car, so I can’t drive. I didn’t renew my license, so I guess it’s no good now either (laughing)

Aiba: I have to get my driver’s license before I graduate university…

Jabuchi: I have a normal driver’s license.

Enomoto: I don’t have driving skills, but I do have ○○ skills <3

Utsugi: Enomoto-san, it’s the middle of the day.

Harada: Utsugi-kun, do you have a license?

Utsugi: No.

Hatsutori: Me neither.

Harada: Well…I have a regular driver’s license, under the name ‘Harada’. I can ride a motorbike, too.

Isoi: Do you want to hear my tale of heroism?

Sanemitsu: I want to hear about how cool Reiji Isoi was!

Isoi: A car, a bus, a truck, a semi-truck, a motorbike, a boat, a cruiser, a small-sized aircraft, a helicopter for private use…That’s what I have experience with. Well. Just experience. Kekekekeke.

Atou: ???????????

Atou: This doesn’t mean you’re doing dangerous jobs, does it?????

Isoi: It’s not thaaaaaaat much of a cool, hard-boiled kind of thing. I kind of exaggerated, but I did have experience with those things. Experience touching the steering wheel of them, that is. (laughing) Don’t you think that’s a really cool, manly thing to do?

Atou: Yeah…but you really surprised me…

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019425459757412354

Q: The dead bodies disappear in the latter half of chapter 6, but why was the person guarding Atou’s jail cell still just there, sleeping through it all?

Atou: Now that you mention it…

Isoi: I guess you could say he really ended up resting in peace.

Atou: Just how tired was he?

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019215868805316608

Q: I want a junior like Shinano-kun!!

Shinano: Yaaay! I’m so happy!! But I’ll be 29 in 2018, so I’d prefer to have someone else as my junior instead.

Atou: They said ‘like’ you, Shinano. That means they don’t necessarily want you as one.

Shinano: Oh. Okay. (´・ω・`)

Otowa: We’re always looking to hire capable people.

Atou: ????

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019215591779913728

Q: Atou-san, thank you for always being the mediator!! (laughing) I’d like to know something funny that’s happened to everyone lately.

Atou: Hmm, something funny? Maybe when Otowa picked up that wrong number.

Shinano: Huh? What happened?

Atou: Oh, an old uncle? Grandpa? Called our office. Seems like he dialed our number trying to call his favorite snack shop.

Atou: He was saying “This is Mommy’s son, right?” so loudly I could hear it from where I was,  and Otowa replied, extremely calmly, “If I had to say, I’m Daddy’s son.” It was such a nonsensical conversation, but he was so matter-of-fact about it I really keep thinking about it. Kachiya-san burst out laughing.

Shinano: That’s what they call a real LMAO moment.

Shinano: Nothing particularly interesting’s been happening lately, but isn’t that thing that just happened on Tw●tter a great punchline to that whole string of online drama that’s been happening lately?

Atou: You know, you read some surprisingly nasty stuff sometimes.

Otowa: Something interesting…Like when your fly was completely open and Hioki pointed it out?

Atou: You’re bringing that up????????Now?????? Hey???? Ah????

Yanagi: Something interesting? One of my pupils told me about a really interesting riddle. I see that kind of stuff on TV a lot too, so solving it’s been really interesting to me.

Jabuchi: You say ‘solving’, but eighty percent of the time when you bring those sudoku puzzles home I’m the one who ends up solving them.

Yanagi: Ehehe.

Kurachi: A c●ckroach showed up in my house, and my wife started screaming. While I was getting a newspaper to whack it with, my daughter was the one who ended up getting it outside…I was thinking about how strong she’d gotten, but as she was locking the back door, she was muttering under her breath about how its life was spared, for now, and I started laughing.

Karen: My dad waking up.

Riku:

Karen: My dad waking up is like a sheep running away from being sheared.

Riku: What kind of description is THAT?

Riku: I don’t think you’ll get my interesting story. No, I don’t mean you’re not smart enough to get it, it’s just about exception handling mistakes and I’m not sure that’ll make sense…(OTL)

Aiba: Right when I was playing with Uri (my pet cat), my package delivery came. Even when cats are playing, they act like they’re ready to fight and they have their backside up in the air and their head down, really focused. Right when he was going to pounce, the intercom rang and he jumped straight up in the air. I laughed and laughed…He must’ve jumped one and a half meters into the air.

Kanou: The face Aiba-kun makes when he’s angry was so perfect, I couldn’t help but laugh.

Atou: Make sure you don’t say that in front of Aiba-kun.

Isoi: It’s the Aiba gestalt collapse…

Atou: No, that’s how I feel hearing about the Isois.

Jabuchi:...

Utsugi: Go ahead.

Jabuchi:...Why were you sticking your head in the refrigerator that time?

Utsugi: I’ll leave that to your imagination.

Enomoto: …

Utsugi: Go ahead.

Enomoto:...Why were you crouching in the warehouse like that the other day?

Utsugi: Even I have times when I stub my toe and need to recover.

Enomoto: That’s not very convincing, but imagining it makes me laugh.

Utsugi: But you’re not laughing. Hahaha.

Hatsutori:...

Utsugi: Go ahead.

Hatsutori: The other day, I had this dream…

Utsugi: Yes?

Hatsutori:...

Utsugi: Yes?

Hatsutori:...I forgot what I was going to say.

Utsugi: Hahaha.

Hatsutori: Hahaha.

Atou: That’s kind of scary.

Isoi: Feels like two senile old men on a porch talking.

Harada:

Utsugi: No.

Harada: Well, the scar on my head hasn’t disappeared.

Utsugi: Really?

Harada: Isn’t that funny?

Utsugi: Oh yes, it’s so pitiful that it’s hilarious. Well then, that will do as my funny story too.

Isoi: When SNMT-san got seaweed stuck in his front teeth.

Sanemitsu: You’re bringing that up?!?! Now?!?! Seriously?! Ah?!

Shinano: Wow, you two really react the same way.

Atou: Shinano.

Seodore: I completely missed my chance to jump into the conversation…

Hatsutori: Good. Keep doing that for as long as you can.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019207689656627200

Q: Cell of Empireo is such an amazing game, I can’t even put it into words. I finished playing it a week ago, but I can still feel it soaking into me. (laughing) I’ve started reading a translation of the Divine Comedy because of this game. This part’s my question, but what made you decide to make a game based on the Divine Comedy?

A: Thank you! I’m honored if my work can create interest in the Divine Comedy…I’m guessing that the beauty of the original work doesn’t get across as well in Japanese, but even so, thanks to the translator’s hard work, we can read it easily.

Actually, in elementary school, I was playing a game, the name of the Divine Comedy came up in it, and that title left a huge impact on me…(maybe it was fate) (???) So somehow, the Divine Comedy’s been by my side for more than half my life. So perhaps it was only natural that when I started making this, I decided to make the Divine Comedy the theme of it.

Of course, since Dante’s a Catholic, there are parts in the series where he’s insulting to other religions. I just borrowed the parts I liked about the Divine Comedy when I read it for the game. Thank you for the question.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019203490315321344

Q: Please tell me what message you were trying to convey with this game!

Hatsutori: It’s probably what the three rings of light said. I don’t know what’s happened up until now, or what kind of tales will be spun in the future?  But no matter what happens, what you see with your own eyes and what you do with your hands is everything. Thank you. May you be blessed with God’s love.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019202364182487041

Q: I’m always just thinking about you…Like whether I should cook you ethnic food that you like, or whether you like spicy things, and what your favorite biographies are…No matter where you go or what you do…I’m thinking about you, Isoi-kun.

…I like you from the bottom of my heart.

I’d be so happy if I could see your smiling face, Isoi-kun.

Isoi: Wow, I really got a super love letter.

Atou: You’re popular.

Isoi: Thank you. I really am happy you think this about me. I’m not too good at smiling, but I’ll try my best to. (grinning)

Atou: It’s kind of creepy when you just smile with your mouth but the rest of your face doesn’t move.

Isoi: Creepy.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019200816039657473

Q: Does everyone have an image color?

Atou: I wonder if there’s someone who has theirs as rainbow.

Isoi: It’s me, isn’t it?

Kanou: It’s me, Mr. Cell of Empireo himself.

Utsugi: No, it’s me. I’m like Ak*ko Kobayashi, after all.

Atou: I don’t even know where to start with you all, but it seems like the answer to your question is in the picture.

Atou: Aren’t they kind of close to each other???

Isoi: Well…there is a certain color with a lot of significance, so…

Enomoto: Awww, Noa wants to share a color with Hatsutori-sama, too!

Yanagi: Share a color?

Enomoto: What, you mean you hadn’t noticed?

Utsugi: ?

Hatsutori: ^^?

Harada: Okay, we’re ending it here to keep things peaceful.

(left row, from the top, is atou, shinano, yanagi, kurachi, karen, riku, aiba, kanou.)

(right row, from the top, is jabuchi, enomoto, utsugi, hatsutori, harada, sanemitsu, isoi, seodore.)

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1019198458224205824

Q: I have this mental image of Kanou-san only eating donuts, but does he ever eat anything more nutritious than that? Atou-kun, please give him a good talking to.

Kanou: How rude. I eat things like cake, cookies, and chocolate too.

Atou: Seems like your blood’s sweet, then.

Kanou: Wanna taste itttttttttttt?

Atou: I have enough sugar and iron, so I’m fine, thanks.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1017396786627948544

Q: Introduce yourself like a sentai character, please!

Atou: Uh, ah—--CoE Yellow, Haruki Atou!!

Shinano: No!!! The protagonist is supposed to be red!!!

Atou: Just where do you see ‘red’ on me?

Hatsutori:...

Utsugi:...

Atou: Don’t give me that look.

Karen: CoE Red, Karen Kumazaki!!

Enomoto: CoE Blue, Noa Enomoto♡

Kanou: CoE White, Aogu Kanou◎

Atou: What’s that symbol?

Kanou: A do

Atou: If you say ‘doughnut’, I’m going to slap you upside the head.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1017395608779292673

Q: When Otowa-san was in middle school, he talked a lot more casually, but now he talks more formally. When did that change? Did something happen, or did he have some kind of personality change or something? I’d like to hear if there was something like that.

Atou: He still talks casually now, just in private.

Otowa: I decided that that was the way I should talk when I entered society, that’s all. And before I knew it, it became a habit and I ended up talking like that even in my daily life.

Atou: Well, this guy’s always kind of had a stick up his ass like that.

Otowa: Is that how I come off to you? (laughing)

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1017395264204574720

Q: I know that Yuusuke Aiba said a lot of horrible things about Kanou in his diary, but what made him hate Kanou so much? And personally, I think Kanou-san would get along with Ibuki Aiba-kun because he could make donuts for him. What do you think?:

Atou: …………………………………………

Isoi: ……………………………………………

Atou: Um.

Aiba: I don’t mind, but that's pretty much impossible.

Kanou: Accept my curse.

There’s the timing when you meet Kanou in CH4, the conversation in CH5, the CH6 route flags and events, as well as Kanou’s special flag that has nothing to do with clearing the game. So based on those…Well, you know, it might be a bit difficult to do that ^^;

Q: Congratulations on the 1 month anniversary of the Cell of Empireo release!

If you could, would you tell us everyone’s hairstyle, hair color, and eye color?

Atou: You can look at the in-game pictures for our hairstyle…My hair is dyed blond. My real hair color is brown, or to be more specific, dark brown. My eyes are light brown, but look red under certain lighting.

Shinano: My hair is light brown! And my eye color is dark olive, I think?

Otowa: My hair is dark green and my eyes are black.

Yanagi: My hair is black. My eyes are the same color, but when light hits them they look a little purple-ish.

Kurachi: My eyes are brown. My hair is also brown.

Karen: Black hair and black eyes!!

Riku: My natural hair color is brown, but I dye it a bit lighter. My eyes are black.

Aiba: My hair is a very dark blue that’s close to black, and my eyes should be black too, but…

Atou: On a second look, they look more purple or blue. They’re sparkling.

Kanou: Nooooo, you can’t! You can’t force yourself into the secret of Kanou-san’s color schemeeeeeee!

Enomoto: Nooooooo, you can’t! It’s a maiden’s secreeeeeeeeeeeet!

Jabuchi: (has no idea how to react to those responses) U…um…my hair is brown…and I know…I have light brown eyes…

Utsugi: You can see what color they are.

Harada: My hair is brown, and my eyes are reddish brown.

Hatsutori: You can see what color they are.

Isoi: My hair is brown, and my eyes are a greenish black.

Atou: Really?!?! Your pupils are like tiny little grains of rice, so I couldn’t tell at all.

Isoi: I doooooon’t want to be told that from someone who has his eyes closed all the time.

Seodore: Well, I…

Hatsutori: You don’t need to answer.

Seodore: The DLC was just announced, so I’m answering!!! Proudly!!!

Hatsutori: …

Seodore: My hair is mainly bright lavender, but I have streaks in my hair the color of Old Pansy. My eyes are red!

(Actually, there’s no particularly deep meaning for why Aiba's eye color is so strange…^^ Please just think of them as pretty eyes.)

Q: Does everyone have an ideal husband(/wife)? Oh, and do you want to dote on someone or be doted on?

Atou: I guess that first part is the same as the other question. And I'd like someone who can do both.

Shinano: It kinda feels like I end up being the one getting doted on~

Otowa: By the way, if you’re interested in everyone’s ideal types, see the other question.

Yanagi: I’d like someone who can do both, too~

Kurachi: Doting on someone…I don’t entirely understand what you mean by that, but I’m very devoted to my wife, I think.

Karen: I want someone to be harsh on me and I want to be harsh on someone.

Riku: Karen…Have you been interested in becoming a samurai lately?

Riku: Well, I…keep getting doted on myself.

Aiba: Hm…I can’t imagine myself doing either of those things. But I think it’d be nice to have a partnership where we both do our best to respect each other.

Kanou: Doting? Well, I do like donuts. And other sweet things, like cake.

Jabuchi: …I don’t think I want to be doted on.

Enomoto: I want to be doted oooooooooooooooooon.

Utsugi: I don’t think about that kind of thing.

Hatsutori: Me neither.

Harada: I don’t try to, but I end up doting on people (laughing)

Isoi: Hm, well, it’d be nice to have a person who let me dote on them when I wanted to, and doted on ME when I wanted to be doted on.

Atou: You sound more like a cat than an actual cat.

Q: I want to see full-body pictures of the other two members of the flowerpot trio! I’m interested in what’s under Minorin’s clothes, too. I’m really interested.

Harada: What’s under my clothes is a spoiler for the DLC, so I’ll keep that a secret, but you can think of me as a healthy, slender young+++

Hatsutori: My full body…

Harada: When you had your legs. When you HAD your legs. Give us the photo soon.

Hatsutori: Got it.

Atou: Please wait for the picture to develop.

(The picture took a while to develop, but here it is.)

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1017383166447796224

Q: I love you, Kanou-san!!! I love you!!!! You’re so cute, I just want to hug you tight!!

Kanou: I’m as delicate as a doughnut. I’ll break if you touch me so you caaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan’t.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015423486242648064

Q: I like Atou-san so, so much, I can’t help it. I want to stalk him. (peeking from behind a rock)

Atou: I’m glad you like me so much. Thank you. By the way, since I’m a detective, can I take the fact that you said you wanted to stalk me as a challenge?

Otowa: Are you really going to say that?

Atou: I’m joking, of course. (laughing) I’m very glad you like me. But no stalking.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015423333024784384

Q: I really want to fluff fluff Hajime-kun’s hair, but Utsugi-sama will erase me if I do, won’t he? (sweatdrop kaomoji)

Utsugi: I won’t erase you. If Hajime lets you do it, that is. If that is even possible.

Hatsutori: -v-`

Seodore: Hatsutoriiiiiiiii~ (fluff fluff)

Hatsutori: You smell like cigarettes, so take your gloves off and wash your hands before you do that.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015421878331031552

Q: In that ending you can get where Noa-sama is searching for Atou-kun after the scene on the security camera, is that surprising thing that jumps out then one of the babies? Or could that be Noa-san herself?

Enomoto: IT’S NOT ME!!!!!!!!!!!!! DO YOU THINK I WOULD LOOK LIKE THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Atou: Weren’t you the one who said the babies were cute?

Enomoto: Looking cute and being cute are two different types of cute.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015421652895555588

Q: Do Atou-san and Harada-san naturally have red eyes?

Atou: To be more exact, me and that person naturally have reddish brown eyes. So brown, just with a red tint to it.

Harada: People say that makes you naturally hotblooded.

Atou: Well, if that means emotional…I don’t really think that’s incorrect.

Harada: You also saw what all the red-eyed people had in common in the game itself, right?

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015421306592903168

Q: What breed is Aiba-kun’s cat? I’d like to know? Oh, and is it a boy or a girl…?

Aiba: Hmm!! Actually, he’s not any particular breed!! He grew up on the streets, as they say. There wasn’t anyone who could take him in but me, so I ended up doing just that in the end. His name is Uri, he’s male, and he’s very lazy. (laughing)

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015420275435888641

Q: I love CoE and SharkTaleFactory!!

Isoi: (licks) This is…a love letter!!

Atou: Did you really have to lick it to tell?

Atou: Thank you again. Your love really keeps all of us here at SharkTaleFactory going. Please continue to support us from here on out.

Kanou: Is this because of me?

Atou: What?

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015418080162271232

Q: Everyone, please tell me your favorite seasons!

Atou: Well, I guess spring and autumn. They’re nice.

Shinano: Spring! The flowers are so beautiful then!

Otowa: Spring is pretty nice. I like autumn too, but the typhoons that come then are a pain.

Isoi: Spring’s great, isn’t it. Japan in the spring is peak Japan.

Utsugi: It’s good, isn’t it.

Atou: You guys don’t have to agree with me.

Yanagi: I like winter. There are a lot of events then, and that makes me feel happy somehow.

Kurachi: Summer, I guess. I have a lot of really good memories of my hometown from then, like the sounds of the cicadas and the N river, and having chilled watermelon and cucumber with my siblings. There isn’t any other season that even comes close to it.

Karen: Summer!!! Vacation!!

Riku: (patpat) I like spring. Violets bloom then, after all.

Jabuchi: Winter.

Enomoto: Spring and fall. Or, I should say, I don’t like it when it’s too hot or when it’s too cold.

Utsugi: I like every season except summer.

Hatsutori: I think the seasons themselves are beautiful things. Only certain environments have four different seasons, so I hope the people living in those places can cherish them.

Harada: I hate spring. Hated it, I think.

Isoi: I wonder how you feel now?

Atou: Who knows? What about you, by the way?

Isoi: It’s spring. They say it’s the season of meetings, after all. I really mean it.

Atou: I see.

Aiba: Sorry, I was taking care of a cat for a bit.

Atou: Ah, the cat that jumped into your bag and came to school with you?

Aiba: By the way, my favorite season is summer!!! Because of the sea!!! And swimming!!!

Q: I’d like to ask about everyone’s hair. Or rather, how it’d feel to touch.

■Soft (thinner hair)

Yanagi, Kurachi, Riku, Jabuchi, Enomoto (she has to make an effort to keep her hair soft) Hatsutori

■Normal hair

Atou, Shinano, Aiba, Utsugi, Harada

■Thicker hair

Isoi, Otowa, Karen

■WHAT is going on with your hair

Kanou, Seodore

Q: What would happen if the entire cast was yandere…?

Atou: It really would be something.

Shinano: It’d be hell, right?

Otowa: This happens in the E route.

Atou: Yeah.

Isoi: Isn’t everyone at Path to Empireo just like that? All the time?

Atou: Tru~

Shinano: Ikr~

((Yeah, totally!!!))

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015412859407294466

Q: What shoes do you usually wear, everyone?

Atou: I wear normal leather shoes, boots, and sneakers. I don't really wear things with heels…

Shinano: I wear sneakers! Recently I've been wearing those ones with the bumpy straps that you don't need to tie instead of laces.

Otowa: I wear the same as those two.

Yanagi: Oh, right! I have a lot of shoes, but I’m not really good at walking in heels…I find myself buying a lot of cute shoes like mules against my better judgement…Oh! Recently I’ve been thinking rain boots are really cute too, so I’ve been buying a lot of those. There are so many shoe designs and so many shoes for so many different things, I just don’t know what to do with myself.

Jabuchi: Nina.

Yanagi: Yes,

Kurachi: I mainly have shoes I can use for my job. Of course, I also have shoes I put on when I go running.

Karen: Sports shoes!!

Riku: I have shoes from a sports brand, too.

Kanou: I actually really hate shoes and want to take them off all the time. Sandals are the best.

Aiba: Even though I get the urge to buy deck shoes or sports sandals for the upcoming sports season, I’d still say that basic sneakers are the easiest to move in and suitable for all kinds of situations. So I end up buying them every time.

Jabuchi: So…you know about men’s shoes pretty well, then. Hey. Don’t look at me so suspiciously like that. I’m not raising my insoles or anything.

Enomoto: I hate shoes, so I usually wear sandals or slippers. I only wear heels or boots when I need to do a job.

Utsugi: Since I do have to go into research labs and such sometimes, as you can see I usually wear engineering boots.

Hatsutori: Shoes, huh…^^*

Harada: Okay. Okay. I got it, so stop smiling like that.

Harada: I wear whatever kind of shoes I need to. I take time, place, and occasion into account, as well as fashion. I may not seem like it, but I do worry about my appearance.

Isoi: I wear normal sneakers and work boots. I used to wear things with raised soles so my legs would look longer, but I stopped.

Atou: Show everyone the way you really look.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015408541690048512

Q: What’s your most embarrassing memory?

Atou: When Hioki-san told me at lunch “I was too busy to tell you about it when I first noticed in the morning, but your fly is open.”

Shinano: When I was looking for a book with a kind of embarrassing title, and I had to ask the bookstore employee to help me find it.

Otowa: I don’t have one.

Yanagi: Hmmmmmm….Um. Hm…Ah, yep, it’s…it’s when I confessed. ^^*

Kurachi: An embarrassing, or rather a shameful memory for me, is when I mistakenly charged the wrong person with a crime.

Karen: When I thought we still had samurai…

Riku: Don’t worry, Karen. Everyone in Japan is still a samurai. In their hearts.

Riku: When I couldn’t read the kanji in Sumire-san’s name…so I just ended up calling her ‘you’. And then she found out.

Kanou: When I was leaning back in a chair eating a donut, then fell over and hit my head and Niimi-kun saw it. Oh nooo, I was totally ready to silence him for good! Just joking♡

Aiba: When I crossdressed at the cultural festival…

Jabuchi: Why would I just tell that to whoever asks?

Enomoto: It’s kind of embarrassing in a good way, but when Hatsutori-sama first read my name///

Utsugi: Hmm, I don’t remember.

Harada: You don’t remember the time you tried to drink cocoa at the same time as Hajime and ended up spitting it out because it was too hot?

Utsugi: I’m going to kill you.

Hatsutori: Hm, embarrassing? I did feel just a little bit embarrassed when Minoru called me his friend.

Harada: Wellllll…I can’t think of any other time except when I tried to propose. I was seriously nervous. And I was super embarrassed. Isn’t that a cute story?

Isoi: When I noticed SNMT-san had seaweed stuck between his front teeth.

Atou: Are YOU really the one who was embarrassed by that?

SNMT: Wait, did that really happen?

Isoi: It was a joke.

Atou: Oh? Are you suuuuuuuuure?

SNMT: I have to go brush my teeth.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1015404837641449472

Q: This is for the smokers in the cast. What brand do you smoke?

Isoi: An American brand of cigarettes called ‘Legion’. Legion 1mg menthol. I used to smoke it a ton in the past, but, well…someone asked me to stop, so I don’t anymore.

Yanagi: You used to smoke Carna brand cigarettes. So I did too. Neither of us do now, though.

Seodore: (staring)

Hatsutori: I don’t think you need to answer here.

Seodore: Nooooo, but I want to!!

Hatsutori: Acting like that doesn’t suit you.

Seodore: What do you mean ‘acting’?(laughing) So listen. This is the brand of cigarette I smoke. It’s called Brugmansia. It’s apple flavored. Hey, are you listening to me? Hey.

(By the way, since these are all fictional brands, I’ll add this. Legion is based off of Marlb○ros, and Carna is based off of K○nts. Brugmansia has a filter on it and is flavored, so you can assume it’s pretty strong.)

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011810463397470210

Q: What’s Kanou’s build like? He seems like the indoor type, but he could lift a shutter Atou-san couldn’t. I’ll give you a doughnut, Kanou-san, so please tell me!

Kanou: My strength and weight are both normal.

I don’t get fat even though I eat so many doughnuts lmao but you can think of me as being as strong as an average man in his thirties.

My measurements are a secret, though <3 That leaves room for your imagination, right?

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011809688290091008

Q: I really love you. Will you go out with me…?

Atou: Who is this FOR?!

Isoi: C…could it be me?

Kanou: No, it’s me, right?

Harada: It’s a long shot, but maybe me.

Utsugi: Wouldn't it be funny if they addressed it to me?

Hatsutori: Thank you, I’m glad you feel that way.

Atou: Please don’t give a joke answer like that with such a straight face.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011448892091613184

Q: Everyone, how do you spend your days off?

Atou: We answered a question like this before, so refer to that answer. Thank you!

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011448400946946048

Q: In the phase in Chapter 6 before the Jabuchi fight, what was on the fourth floor of the main building? There appeared to be a large creature that differed from the rest…

A: If you take a closer look at the head, you’ll see it was the female researcher at the reception desk. The same one that attacked the man in the confessional booth after the change in the main building, in fact.

That was the strongest creature after the β attack.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011448023639920641

Q: I want to give Isoi-kun red geraniums! They mean “I’m happy as long as you’re here” in the language of flowers. I love you, Isoi-kun.

Isoi: Oh, TY. But I think if you give me flowers, they’ll dry out and die, so please give them to Atou-san instead. All I need is your feelings. I appreciate them.

Also, if I had to say, the reason I like those flowers is that they’re close to how I feel about those people.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011447452354793478

Q: If everyone were to do one of those brain diagnosers, what would happen?

Atou: If everyone were to do it, it would take a looooooooooong time.

Shinano: Soooooooo…

Isoi: We’re doing it randomly, and, tada!

Otowa: Hm. How do I put this? I wish there was more money in there.

Atou: Well, I guess you are a business owner.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011244096613040134

Q: What made you decide to make this game? I’d really like to know!

A: I wanted to make a game.

That’s it. (Really, that’s all it was.)

I wanted to make a game, so I created a story. And then, I wanted to make a story that could only be told in the medium of a game. I feel like I successfully did that, so I’m satisfied. Thank you.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011243873555775489

Q: What would happen if the people without abilities got them? How did the characters with their abilities get them? (And would they change them, if they could?)

Harada: Maybe Aiba-kun would have a water ability?

Jabuchi: The Kumazaki dad might have something relating to electricity? Or some kind of machine interference…

Utsugi: I can’t even begin to guess what someone like Kanou would have as an ability.

Enomoto: By the way, people themselves can’t choose or change their abilities.

Utsugi: Yes, they all come from God’s love. They’re Hajime’s divine revelations that he’s given to us. It might have to do with someone’s innate qualities, their history, or the part they were given. Ah, and yet perhaps we can call that a type of will as well.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011242812073897984

Q: I love you, Isoi-kun! I want to hug you! I want to pet your head too! I want to spoil you so much I can’t help it? Um, do you mind older partners? Do you not like them?

Isoi: …

Atou: Sorry, he’s not quite used to big vectors yet…

Isoi: I prefer younger partners, I guess.

Atou: Don’t say that, I was trying to cover for you.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011241588889022469

Q: When can we see everyone happy together…?

Atou: By everyone, you mean everyone everywhere, right?

Shinano: If you really do mean everyone, then I can’t answer anything but ‘that’s impossible’.

Isoi: Yeah. That’s just the way people are.

Atou: …But if they weren’t, this comedy wouldn’t have happened in the first place. And I wouldn't want that.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011240963950329856

Q: Favorite anime and manga?

Since this isn't’ really related to the characters, Fukao will answer it ()

I’m actually not too familiar with anime or manga, though…

I’ve really only played up to PS2 RPG games, so I really don’t have too much of a range…

I like Matsui-sensei’s work, like Neuro and Assassination Classroom. I also like Azuma-sensei's art from around when they were doing the SO2 manga adaptation. I’ve only read up to Jojo part 5, so I’d like to read the rest…I also just like reading about the history of Napoleon’s rise, so I have some of Hasegawa-sensei’s manga.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011239314628341760

Q: I want to know if everyone’s right or left-handed.

Atou: Raise your hand if you’re left-handed!!!!

Atou: Nobody, huh.

Shinano: Yep, nobody.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011238949933625345

Q: He talks politely, but he swears in Italian. He can seem businesslike through his use of violence, but he also has some childishly deep feelings. I feel like I don’t entirely grasp Isoi-kun as a character, so please tell me your thoughts on him in detail, Harada-san.

Harada: Whaaat? Why are you asking meeeeeee this? Harada-san doesn’t know, you knowwwww.

Sanemitsu: He’s naturally an amazingly gentle, honest, and smart boy. But he also has times he can get pessimistic because of his environment. He’ll be wholeheartedly devoted to a partner who can recognize that. Well, he’s not very good at making facial expressions, so maybe he’s not so honest? Just who did he learn to be so sarcastic from, I wonder?

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011237781182431233

Q: What’s important to you, everyone?

Atou: Hmm, well, it might be unexpected, but everything up until now.

Shinano: All the people and animals that have changed my life.

Otowa: Self-confidence and self-restraint.

Yanagi: Even if it doesn't end up meaning anything in the end, I want to cherish those things I thought of as good deeds.

Kurachi: Justice and ethics.

Karen: Dad and Mom and Uncle and that miss and Mr. Policeman and that mister and Kitaro-san.

Riku: Karen, of course…Hey, wait, who’s Kitaro? Wait, is it…wait, hold on. Hey.

Aiba: ???

Aiba: Important to me? Being tough on myself. I need to temper my mind and body!!

Kanou: Important to me~? Well, it wouldn’t be important to me if I was telling you about it. But, you know, I guess if I had to say it (laughing) it’d be freedom.

Jabuchi: …Faith. But…that might not sound very persuasive, coming from me.

Enomoto: Giving my love to Hatsutori-sama vvv

Utsugi: Hahaha, I wonder. I’ll leave that to your imagination.

Hatsutori: The world, all humanity, all plants and animals, all living things, and everything that exists.

Harada: Hahaha, I wonder. I’ll leave that to your imagination.

Utsugi: (laughing)

Harada: Uwah, what (lmao)

Isoi: Family.

Atou: Yeah. Even if two people aren’t connected by blood, if they call themselves family, then they’re family.

https://twitter.com/stf_cos/status/1011235037121937414

Q: Shinano usually eats a lot of sweets, but he seems healthy…By the way, everyone, do you worry about your weight and height?

Atou: Hmm, I don’t think I have a complex about my body type.

Shinano: Once in a while I find myself thinking “Oh, I gained a little weight~”. But I think Atou-san should eat more.

Otowa: I don’t have any sort of inferiority complex about myself, either. But Haruki should eat. It’s not good for him to be that thin.

Isoi: I’d like to be 10 cm taller. I wish my legs were a full 10cm longer. Atou-san, eat. Eat rice.

Shinano: Rice, rice, rice rice~

Jabuchi: Vi..vitamin mineral…

Atou: No way?! You too?!

Yanagi: Hmm, I can’t stop eating a ton of sweets, so I’m a little worried about it~

Kurachi: I’ve lost a little bit of muscle tone with age, as you might expect, so I have to keep exercising…

Karen: I want to get taller!!!

Riku: Karen, you’re fine for your age, right? Don’t get taller than me, okay?

Aiba: Well, I don’t have a complex about it, but I try every day to keep in shape for my ideal body.

Kanou: I’m not the type to be unsatisfied with how I look. Because I’m super cool.

Jabuchi: Well. (coughs)...No, let me restart…No, I won’t restart, actually. No comment. Wait. don’t stand next to me like that, Nina. Don’t just stand there looking at me like that.

Enomoto: Hmmm? I don’t have a complex about myself at allll.

Utsugi: Haha. I don’t worry about my body type, but when it rains, my hair frizzes and gets tangled, and I turn into a medusa.

Harada: Can’t you just change your looks if they bother you?

Isoi: You can. Unless you naturally have short legs, that is.

Harada: I’m sorry.

Hatsutori: It’s what’s inside that matters. I feel blessed to even be given a vessel.

Seodore: Isn’t your “vessel” you, too? That’s no good, you know. Don’t give up the symbol that you’re still a person.

Hatsutori:...You’re right. It’s like having a nameplate, right?

[‘vitamin mineral’ is a reference to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hAqtlmSaxVg ]

Q: What’s your favorite movie genre? And can you handle horror?

Um, I think this question is addressed to Fukao, so I’ll answer it. Sorry if you actually wanted to send it to the characters…!!

Actually, I haven’t seen that many movies, and the ones I have seen are mainly Western action movies.

I can’t handle scary things, so I don’t watch horror!

I know the fantasy and action movies I’ve watched in the past have had an influence on me, so when I made this game and people told me that it seemed like a movie, I was pretty happy to hear that.

I’ll say this again, but I don’t watch horror or splatter films. Please believe me…I’m really a scaredy-cat…

Q: Everyone, what do you do on your days off?

Atou: Huh? Hmm…I mainly just lie around the house. I can be way too lazy sometimes. I also play games, or read books, or…do my job…

Shinano: I went out on walks a lot! I also go to bookstores. Not just to buy doujin!

Otowa: I read or I go to the gym.

Yanagi: I go shopping, or go to coffee shops I’m curious about…I also studied. I was trying to be a teacher, so…

Kurachi: I go shopping with my wife, or I do chores.

Karen: I play a lot. I play games inside, or go outside to play. They even played with me at the laboratory.

Riku:...That was because I was useless and didn’t really do anything. When I was actually doing what I should be, I mainly tended to the household or helped Karen.

Aiba: I review my course material, I read up on things I’m interested in, I read the news, I do muscle training…and I cook!

Kanou: Every day is a new TV special.

Atou: That’s the age we live in.

Jabuchi: My…job…? I used to go out a lot, so…

Enomoto: We don’t have things like days off, but when I have spare time, I usually read manga or watch things like TV dramas.

Utsugi: Every day, week, and hour of mine is scheduled. I’ve stopped feeling like it’s tying me down long ago, so I don’t really have days off.

Hatsutori: Everyone, make sure to take breaks when you need to rest.

Harada: I sleep on my days off.

Isoi: I sleep on my days off.

Atou: Is that what you two are going to say?

Q: I want to see a picture of Kanou-san eating a donut (^.^)

Kanou: Haha~ Sorry, but I’m trying to get through all of these requests, so I really don’t have time for that. No requests for pictures! But, since you were the first person brave enough to ask it, I’ll do it, but just this time!!

Kanou: Okay, here’s a photo I took the other day (laughing)

 Q: GPOPOPO….

Isoi: T…this is…!

Shinano: It’s some kind of code!

Otowa: The culprit is left-handed.

Kurachi: It happened about five days ago.

Atou: Don’t you join in, Kurachi-san.

Utsugi: It’s the three circles.

Hatsutori: It’s from the thirty-third canto of 'Paradiso’.

Atou: Hey, cut it out, you two.

Q: I love you so much I can’t handle it, Isoi-kun. I want to make you happy…What should I do? If I can do it, I’ll do anything!

Isoi: Give me 5000 trillion yen.

Atou: Who taught you that?

Shinano: Me!!!

Atou: Well, at least he’s honest.

Shinano: Aaah! Atou-san is grinding his knuckles into the side of my head!! It doesn’t hurt!!

Isoi: You don’t really need to do anything. Just take care of your physical and mental health. Even I wouldn’t like it if someone ended up feeling sick.

Q: Is Atou-san’s transmitter pattern some kind of flag?

A: It doesn’t have a direct relation to the plot of CoE itself. But depending on corrosion rate, health, and sanity, it will make Origin β's attacks more dangerous.

To say it directly, the number of hits will increase. What to do in this situation is a bit of a spoiler, so please try it out yourself ^^;

Q: Hello. (This is really late, but) Congratulations on the complete release of Cell of Empireo! And thank you for all your hard work on the game! (kaomoji)

I’m the type who doesn’t have a computer and prefers to watch people play through games, so I watched my favorite streamer play through the demo. (They’re playing through the complete version now, and I’m really looking forward to see them finish it.)

I started wondering about this. Recently, there have been a lot of free games that don’t use RPG Maker 2003, so I was wondering if there was any particular reason SharkTaleFactory chose to use it? Of course, recent games (mobile games included) have more fluid animation, like a movie, but…(and I know this might be asking for too much). I find myself wanting more pixel art games like what’s made in RPG Maker 2003. So I was really happy to see it…Please tell me why you decided to make it!

Oh, and this is a question to all the characters. If there’s something that makes you feel nostalgic, could you tell me? I’d love to hear it (^^)

Thank you so much!! That’s very high praise. And thank you to the LPers who introduce more people to this game.

And now, the reason I decided to use RPG Maker 2003…

It’s because…

I didn’t have anything else!!!! ^_^

In the first place, I’m someone who started with RPG Maker from the SNES era, so I got used to the 2000 & 2003 systems, and started writing the scripts…There was also that contrary sort of irritated feeling of “I’m used to RPG Maker 2003, and it’ll be faster to make a game in that!!!” and “I’ll show you just how much RPG Maker 2003 can do!!!” as to why I used it, too (laughing).

So I’m really glad my game made you feel that same sense of nostalgia. Okay, enough, I’ll stop talking here.

Atou: Nostalgic, huh…I dug out an 8cm CD from my house lately and it brought back memories.

Shinano: Retro things have been really popular lately, haven’t they. Oh, maybe what makes me feel nostalgic is those old 500 yen coins?

Otowa: The Y2K bug is what makes me feel nostalgic.

Yanagi: A Lic〇a-chan doll? Do kids these days know what I’m talking about?

Kurachi: There are a lot of things that make me feel nostalgic at my age.

Karen: I’m falling~~For you~~Again~~

Riku:

Riku: N…nostalgic? Maybe sukeban…? Or is that a little bit too nostalgic?

Aiba: Hm, nostalgic? I’ve heard about 2000 yen bills. I don’t remember them, and I don’t think I’ve ever seen one myself, though.

Kanou: Hmm? Like B〇’z? I heard about them recently.

Jabuchi: Nostalgic…things…I know there are a lot of things that I feel that way about, but when someone asks me, nothing quite comes to mind…(but still. still)

Enomoto: Hm, do you mean something like Rose of Versa〇lles?

Utsugi: Snakes. I hate snakes. No, I just hate things that are shaped like snakes. I’ve had a complex about it ever since I was young.

Hatsutori: You’re talkative today, Noriyuki.

Utsugi: I’ll be quiet.

Hatsutori: Nostalgic, huh…A lot of things make me nostalgic.

Harada: Eeeeeeeeeeeeenough~~ Let's lighten the mood~ You twoooooo~ This is waaaaaay!!! Too heavy!!! I can feel the gravity here!!

Isoi: Then what makes you feel nostalgic?

Harada: A flowerpot~~

Atou:

Isoi: You know, I don’t think that’s quite the same type of nostalgia. Shouldn’t we be talking about things that bring back fond memories of being a kid or something?

Atou: Let’s say that, yeah. What about you?

Isoi: The DreamC〇st.

Atou: Okay, no more.
